I ride my bike for exercise, and it's not uncommon for a regular pocket to lose an item during a ride, especially if you hit a big bump! This item isn't causing any issues. There are so many pockets on this vest, both inside and out, that I lost track of how many there are. There are external, internal, and even pockets within pockets. I stuffed it back into the same pocket for a laugh, then had a few others try to extract it - It has the potential to be a fun game. The key fob should be located. This is something I bought to wear to work. I'm a Nursing Supervisor, so I needed something that was both dependable and reasonably good. looking and sounding professional The vest has a slim fit, and the pockets are roomy, accessible, and secure (except for the phone pocket, which could use an inch of length). ) The material is strong but lightweight, making it non-slip. summer-friendly but not thermal it's appropriate br>br>I have my phone, a charger, trauma shears, tape, nitrile gloves, a Littman stethoscope, several pens and markers, and a 10-minute timer with me at all times. I was looking for a super light vest to wear while hiking in the summer. I don't feel like carrying a backpack or wearing a jacket, so I only bring my wallet, cell phone, car keys, sunglasses, and a pocket knife. My problem is solved with this vest. It has a lot of pockets and is so light that I don't even notice I'm wearing it. br>My only issue was determining the correct size; I usually wear a size 41/42 sport jacket, so I started with an extra large, which was far too large. After returning the large and medium, I tried on a small and discovered that it was a perfect fit. So I'm not sure what to say about the other reviewers, but in my case, I'd recommend ordering one size smaller than normal. br>In any case, if you're looking for a lightweight utility vest to wear when it's too hot to wear a jacket, this is the way to go.
They were ideal, especially since our camera equipment alone weighed 20 pounds! We wore the cameras around our necks and stuffed a surprising amount of (heavy) items into the vest pockets: camera lenses, field guides, a shaver, iPhones, and so on. Even an iPad can be stowed in the back. . . . with some thought to how you move and sit br>It's not high fashion, ladies, but that doesn't matter on fishing trips or safaris.
Note: My husband, who stands 6 feet tall and weighs 165 pounds, opted for the L. I wore a M because I am 5'7" and 145 pounds. Both were ideal (though there was enough room for someone a few pounds heavier).
To begin, there's the matter of scale: I'm 5- I'm 5'5", 145 pounds, with a 39/40" chest and 32" waist, and I usually wear a medium, but after reading the reviews, I went up a size to a large. It was unnecessary to do so. I gave the vest to a family member who liked the look of it so much that I gave it to them, and they love it. I ordered a medium, and it fits me perfectly. So it was true to size for me; medium was medium. br>br>I looked at a lot of "lightweight" vests before coming across this vendor, and I'm glad I did. At 90°F and 60% humidity I needed light and breathable clothing. So far, everything appears to be in order; it functions properly. I've only worn it a couple of times so far, but I really like it. If it breaks or isn't long-lasting, I'll update my review. It has enough pockets to meet my needs as a casual wear item and a place to carry items I need while taking photos while walking around. br>br>If the vest holds up, I'll look for another in a darker color; I might try a small for a dressier look with jeans or slacks.
As a technician, I work in an office setting, so having a few extra pockets is beneficial. In the summer, when most of us are dressed in t-shirts, I'm running out of places to put pens and other small items in my shirts, so this vest seemed like a good buy. It also works well. The only drawback is that the synthetic material used to make it heats up quickly in direct sunlight or when I go outside in the Texas summer, making it uncomfortable to wear. Otherwise, it does a good job, and I'll keep wearing it when my shirt doesn't have enough pockets to get me through the day.
