Despite the ice being extremely cold, my husband was extremely comfortable sitting outside on it. Having trouble fitting the suit is the result of the fact that it takes some time to figure out how to do it. The program is great once that has been completed, and we strongly recommend it
The bibs match perfectly and have a float feature, as well. A coat and bibs are both in my shopping cart. In the cold weather, I wore jeans under the bibs and two lighter layers under the jacket and was able to spend much time outside without having to seek shelter. The shoes I bought for my wife are so nice that I have also bought her It was quite difficult for her to keep warm with the bibs considering she is very cold-blooded. They are also really good in terms of pockets and features.
If you carefully read striker's flotation claims, you will see that you cannot count on them for 100% flotation. They do have buoyancy built into the fiberglass, but they do not comply with US Coast Guard regulations.

This is a predator on the ice. It was given this name because it's fierce color and ability to fight off attacks from very common North American bears, wild eagles, and giant seabass foraging for food. Until I bought this jacket, I once aimed to be great, to climb every mountain, to fish every lake, to ski every country, but when I got my hands on this jacket, I realized none of that was possible or necessary.
