My favorite part of this coat is its length. Due to its Goretex material, it is extremely waterproof as well as In addition, the design is very good. It has not been a good winter for me in northern Massachusetts. In it is an LL Bean Maine Warden's parka that I bought to replace my 20+ year old LL Bean version. The LL Bean is warmer on the days when it's in the single digits and 0 degrees, so I'm glad I had it. In my opinion, Volcom isn't far behind the LL Bean, it's just that its insulation is very thin. The large size is a little big in the chest, so I can only fit a fleece vest or sweater underneath it should be adequate for you. We are experiencing a high level of warmth. This is still a tough act to follow, but it's also twice as expensive as LL Bean.

I felt like a sumo wrestler while doing it. Would have preferred a slimmer fit like my Volcom ski pants, but this has a very bulky look. The trip had to be cut short. Apart from that, it was a good experience.

This is a great gortex jacket at an affordable price. The jacket has been in use for a hundred days. With a midlayer, it is perfect for cold weather. If it is on its own it will take 35 days It is 50 degrees outside.
