These shoes are the most comfortable I've ever worn. I work 10 hours a day and am on my feet for the majority of the day. I would strongly suggest it.
I bought my first pair of Segment Boots for work about a year ago. I needed a comfortable, long-lasting shoe because I was on my feet for hours. The boots easily kept my feet warm and dry, and I never had a problem with waterproofing. I'm not sure how well it would hold up as a hiking boot in the wilderness, but it's perfect for city life. br>br>The sole on the first pair is slowly fading, so I didn't hesitate to buy a replacement pair. The first pair will be used for casual wear around the house, while the second pair will be used for heavy lifting at work. The sizing is accurate, and I would recommend this shoe for both work and play without reservation.
I bought these shoes because I was going on a guys trip up north to Maine and didn't want to lug around my work boots for the entire weekend. I wanted something that would be functional in the snow but not too heavy or uncomfortable to wear. I didn't want to spend too much money, but I also didn't want to skimp on quality. These proved to be an excellent choice. They're the only shows I brought with me when I went snowmobiling in Maine for the weekend. I have no complaints; in fact, I've been wearing them every day since they arrived because they are so comfy! I'd buy it again without question.
9 1/2 in tennies, loafers, and boots, and ten in boots. Pick a boot brand: Timberland, Rockport, etc. In them, I'm a ten out of ten. br>These aren't just big enough to live with; they're massive, as if they're 11 1/2's mislabeled. br>br>And why would I want to order a different size after this? They've obviously re-invented themselves. Even prime members pay to return them because they have designated what size they believe all sizes are. I can't afford to waste time with this pointless guessing game. br>And what about Amazon? With all of this pay-cutting, I'm shopping less and less here. I'll just go to the store instead of returning now and paying tax. I believe that stores will re-emerge and that Amazon will be phased out.
The boots are fantastic. So far, they've been extremely relaxed. I ordered a size 16 because that's the size I usually wear. The 16s were too big when I tried them on! I exchanged them for a size 15 and they fit perfectly, with some room to spare. I also have wide feet, but these boots didn't bother me. Sizing down in these might be a good idea.
The boots have a good fit, are lightweight, and are comfortable. I gave it four stars because the leather upper had creases across the top of the toe box, which detracted from the overall value. This happened right after the boots were worn for the first time. (This isn't as important to me with these boots because I plan to use them for short hikes in the woods near my house. ).
The boots are excellent, particularly considering the price. It appears that they are made of genuine leather. I don't know if they're whole grain or not. It scratches easily, but this has no bearing on the quality or appearance of the item; it's simply the way it's finished. They're fully lined and have a comfortable insole. I'd recommend replacing the insole with a more supportive one. The boots are really nice. In the toe, they're very wide. There is plenty of room for your toes, but this may affect the size you need to order. They're a light-weight, casual hiker that falls somewhere between a sneaker and a boot. I found exactly what I was looking for. There's only one issue: they're a full size bigger than the rest of my boots. These were way too big for me in my regular size of 12, so I returned them. I returned them and ordered a size 11 in their place. They were still at least a half-size too big at size 5. Looking down at my feet, I can tell they're bigger. It's a lengthy issue; in fact, they're far too lengthy. The boots in the pictures are a size 11 in size. 5 . I would recommend trying these on in a store first to ensure you get the right size; I would buy them again, but in a size 11 because I am a size 12. I'm going to keep them and see if I can get used to how they feel, but they're driving me insane right now because they're so long.
Someone said the shoes run large in at least one review I read. Maybe I should have read a few more reviews before making my decision. As the reviewer recommended, I ordered a smaller size. I usually go for a size eleven. I placed an order for ten. 5 and at least one size too small For the time being, I'm giving 5 stars because the boots are attractive. If the replacement pair fails to live up to expectations, I'll provide an update.
