Skechers Men's Relment Pelmo Chukka Waterproof Boot

I've purchased a number of high-end, high-brand boots in the past, and these boots are by far the most comfortable, warm, durable, and waterproof. Now, I'm not talking about walking through puddles all day, but walking through wet grass, an inch or two of snow, and rain does the trick. I work as a mail carrier and spend the majority of my day on my feet, walking at least 10 miles per day. BOOTS ARE INCREDIBLE!.

On this boot, there isn't a single stitch of genuine leather! The first bullet point is incorrect and deceptive. Please note that other Amazon sellers of this boot do not claim it is 100% leather. On Amazon, this kind of deception should not be tolerated!.

My previous assessment of these hiking boots was as follows: The quality of the front of the rubber toe cap cover has chipped and torn off after a year of hiking in these boots. I'm going to have to reduce the stars to two. I was hoping for a pair of hiking boots that would be more serious. Skechers should redesign their hiking boots to make them more durable. br>My Third Opinion: I've had these Skechers Relment shoes for a year and a half. Traven Hiking Boot has been used for a year on a variety of terrains, including winter hiking. Although they are beginning to show signs of wear, I still consider these to be excellent hiking boots. While out on the trails, I think to myself, "Wow, these are so comfortable!" Winter hiking in the snow with micro-organisms is a new experience for me. I'm a sucker for spikes. Unfortunately, these aren't suitable for winter hiking. The front rubber areas of the boots are tearing and pieces are chipping away, as you can see in the photos. Hiked for 6 hours. 8" of snow on the ground, 4" of snow on the ground My feet haven't gotten wet in 5 miles. I used Nikwax Fabric to waterproof the boots. Proof of leather. After a year of hiking, the boots' bottom soles showed no signs of wear. I'll keep wearing these boots throughout the winter, and I'm hoping they'll hold up to muddy hikes in the early spring. I'm thinking about investing in a pair of "real" winter hiking boots for next winter. These boots are still one of my favorites, and I'll be ordering more when the time comes. br>Next, I'll give you my second opinion: br>I've had these hiking boots for four months and have hiked over 160 miles in them, and they're still going strong. I'm a serious day hiker who hikes three times a week and my feet feel so comfortable with them on and secured that I don't get any blisters after a long hike. The trails in Connecticut state parks are rocky (with a lot of ups and downs), gravelly, and wet. In the spring, the trails can be slick, and these boots keep my feet dry while doing so. If any wear is visible on the bottom treads, it is minimal. After putting these hiking boots to the test, I can confidently and enthusiastically recommend them!
. br>In general, I wear men's size 11 shoes with no special foot problems as long as I don't get blisters. I was comparing this pair of hiking boots to Columbia and Timberline, which were all under $70 and in my price range. Each of the three boots received roughly the same number of positive reviews (4 stars), as well as negative feedback. I simply do not believe that a good pair of hiking boots should cost between $90 and $100. Similar reviews were also found for the more expensive hiking boots, with both positive and negative star ratings. Moreover, these boots cost more than $100. So I only look at the three brands and am glad I went with the Sketcher hiking boot. I've gone on a few winter hikes in Connecticut (no snow, just mud) and they've been comfortable, with no blisters! I'm not sure if they're waterproof, though. So far, I've been walking in mud. If you're looking for a pair of high-quality, low-cost hiking boots, I highly recommend this pair.

Excellent for hiking in the winter. I wanted something that could be used for more than just cold snowy winter days, so it didn't have as much insulation as some of the more rugged winter boots. At just over $60, it's also a great deal. Many of the other boots I looked at were priced in the $100-$200 range. In the 130s. I've had them for a few weeks and they've done an excellent job walking the dog, going on snow hikes, and shoveling the driveway. The fact that they are so warm astounds me. My feet didn't get cold while shoveling the driveway in the teens. I'm not sure how they'd hold up if you were standing still, but they've kept my feet warm while hiking, doing outdoor chores, and so on. br>br>I haven't put them through their paces in terms of water resistance. When the snow melts on the outside, they stay dry inside, but I haven't walked through any water to truly test the waterproof lining's limits. Fit: br>br>Size: br>br>Size: br>br>Size For the record, I'm a size 11 Adidas. My toes were not quite up against the end of the 11s, but they were close, so I chose 11. With 11. 5 I liked the length because it allowed me to wear thick socks if necessary. My feet are narrow, so they're just a smidgeon too wide. The only criticism I have is that there isn't much of an arch. The memory foam insoles and break-in period, on the other hand, are a plus. The bottom is beginning to conform to the shape of my feet as the process progresses. br>br>Will have to wait and see about the dependability. I only use them to walk the dog, do yard work, and go hiking. They'll probably be stored away for the warmer months, as I'd consider them moderate to light use. We'll see if I can stretch them out for a couple of years.
