Questions & Answers
The neoprene thickness is 7mm. To be honest, I believe they would be fine if worn in the fall and possibly the winter if you were moving. I bought these for hunting and recently exchanged them for a smaller size, so I'm hoping they'll keep me warm, but I haven't tried them out yet.
My husband is a big guy who fits perfectly in his size 12 Hiseas.
I believe it is due to a lack of stock and availability.
We ordered a size 10 because my husband wears a size 10 and they fit perfectly.

Hunting for pheasants, mud, and wet weather have had no effect on the boot - They appear to be long lasting to me! br>At this point, I'm not sure how warm they are, but Minnesota winters will reveal all! ***UPDATE*** These boots didn't make it through the winter without developing holes! What a hassle! My son also complained that the boots were too heavy and didn't keep his feet warm. It was a waste of money.
I really like the boots, and they are of excellent quality. My husband works in construction, so I ordered this for him. He wears a size 9 and it was suggested that I order a size 10. Unfortunately, they are too big, but he has tried them on and determined that there is too much movement, resulting in blisters, so we are unable to return them. I would advise anyone to give them a try and make sure they are comfortable before wearing them outside in the elements.
The boots came apart at the sole just enough to let water in shortly after the 30-day return window closed. Otherwise, the boots were quite comfortable, but at $60 for a month's worth of wear, you might want to think twice. br>br>UPDATE// Hisea honored their warranty and provided me with a new pair of boots. Let's hope it was just a stroke of bad fortune. Their customer service was very prompt and courteous.
These boots were purchased to hike streams and comb through the rocks, and despite the fact that I have only had them for a short time, they are ideal for my needs. They're warm, waterproof, and slip-resistant when worn with thick wool socks. I like that it's water-resistant and high enough to keep my legs dry. The thick but soft sole aids traction, but it's not ideal for hiking down steep hills. Because the insole can be removed, a more substantial one could be used in place of the original. Because of the price, I was concerned about their durability, but the fact that they come with a lifetime warranty and that a customer has already stated that the company will honor it immediately assuaged my fears. br>I'm a size 10 in shoes. The size 10 in this hiking boot is a good fit.
Compared to similar boots from other brands, the rubber is softer and more pliable. They were extremely comfortable to wear on the feet as a result of this. The upper portion is made of soft neoprene, with a well-sealed seam where the neoprene meets the rubber to ensure water tightness and no leaks. There is a small notch protruding from the back of the heal. When you push down on it with the toe of your other foot, it helps you remove the boots. This is a nice little bonus feature. I found the boots to be a little roomier than others I'd tried. The tops of the boot gave me more wiggle room than the length or sides. It wasn't quite enough to make walking difficult. I actually prefer it this way because it allows me to wear a thicker pair of socks if necessary. Overall, these are a good-looking, comfortable boot at a reasonable price. I'm curious to see how well they hold up in the field.
I ordered a size 11 and it's a little big on me - However, medium-heavy socks would work well. That said, the boots are tough, and the tread grooves don't get clogged up with clay or stones (or manure), which is a pleasant surprise! This is a fantastic boot that I would highly recommend!.
These boots are for my son, who is still growing. I have a pair of Muck brand boots that I love, but I didn't want to spend the extra money on a boy who would outgrow them in six months. These boots are almost identical to my Muck boots in terms of quality. The material isn't quite as thick as my Mucks, but it's close enough for the price. During a Boy Scout winter campout, they kept my son's feet warm and dry, and the foot tread is excellent for playing and working in the snow and mud. If you're looking for a good alternative to the gold standard in boots, these are a good option.
I purchased these for two reasons: (1) The rubber extends higher up the ankle (less exposed neoprene), which improves durability as neoprene is more easily ripped as you run through the bushes, and (2) I prefer the look of the sole to some "rounded" versions available. However, I returned my purchase because the front of the sole is only about 1/16" thick (after subtracting the thread thickness), which means that a small rock or gravel that gets between the threads will easily puncture it. There was also the impression that there was an air bubble trapped in front of the sole or that layers were separating, which was more noticeable in the left boot than the right (suggesting that part of the problem is a manufacturing irregularity). Overall, portions of the sole are too thin for the boot's intended purpose. br>br>BTW, if you're in the middle of a size, I've found that rounding UP works best for you.
