Questions & Answers

Is it possible to walk through a deep creek with this?

No, because the rubber only goes up half way, but I'd ask them if they have a boot that would work for you. This is the best boot I've ever owned, and I'm extremely pleased with the outcome.

Are these boots too warm for the early season, when the temperatures are in the mid-60s and 70s?

When it's hot outside, they can get a little warm, but folding the upper part over or down helps a lot.

Is there a size 14 available?

It will be fantastic to have size 14 available.

My husband is an 8 1/2, would the 9 be too big for him or would it work because you don't make 1/2 sizes?

My husband is a size 10 1/2, and I am wearing a size 11. He admitted that they are a little large, but that they work well for him because he can slide them on and off. Because we have wet property in the back by the pond, he mows the lawn while wearing socks. The rubber is extremely durable and the boots are well-made. The uppers have a neoprene feel to them. This boot is very nice. He's also looking for a pair that's a little shorter. I have a pair as well, and I prefer them a little larger because they resemble a farm boot and are easier to put on and take off.

Selected User Reviews For Hisea Men's Rain Boots Waterproof Durable Insulated Rubber Neoprene Outdoor Muck Hunting Boots for Winter Snow Arctic

LaCrosse Diamondback snake proof, Hisea vs Guide Gear, Crocs AllCast, Seac 6mm, Servus Comfort tech, Hisea vs Guide Gear I tried on at least six different rain boots, mud boots, and sizes in some of them
3/5

They came in sizes 9, 10, 11, and so on, depending on the manufacturer: br>br>For the sake of this comparison, I'll use size 10 in:
1. Hisea, 2. 3. Gear for the Guide, Crocs AllCast, size four. 6 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm, 6 mm, 6 mm Comfort technology, Servus, 6. The LaCrosse Diamondback snake proof boot is the most uncomfortable because it is a more rigid snake proof boot. br>br>To be fair, the LaCrosse is the most uncomfortable because it is a more rigid snake proof boot. Safety comes first, followed by comfort. br>br>However, there is a better, more versatile, and equally safe alternative, which I'll try to remember to include here later. br>Now it's time to return to the boots. br>br>I'm going to rank these based on how easy it is to scan the reviews [I know, I read hundreds of them trying to find the items]. Size 10: br>br>All Sizes: br>br>All Sizes: br>br>All If you want to use your sole insert in any of the boots, order a size larger. With the exception of Hisea, who appeared to be a size 10 with insert [i. e. It comes in a large size]. 1. br>br> Dive boot Seac 6mm: It's almost as if it's a shoe. The sole is made of 100% rubber. This 9 is a size 10 and it fits snugly. [Includes sock. ] 10 foot It was perfect after I removed the sock; wet feet were a little difficult to get in, but slide your fingers down your foot or cover your foot with a plastic grocery bag]. Wear it zipped on one side for true water resistance or unzipped for walking/hiking. Hiking, to be sure. These are great for fossil hunting in shorts, wearing under BuzzOff pants, wading overalls to stay dry in the summer or winter [6mm], walking on beaches with shells, or diving coral reefs. ALL of the other boots are not designed to be worn in water that is deeper than 12". Crocs are about 6 inches tall. If you're looking for hunting/hiking boots, I'd recommend getting the Crack Shot Snake Guardz to wrap around them and make your jeans [or even bare legs] much more comfortable and versatile. br>br>2. Equipment for the Guide: Seac's fit is a tad looser. Very comfortable over-calf boot [calf area appears to be large enough to fit the guy in the insurance commercial with the calk implants] Fits like a true size 10. In the toe, there's plenty of space. Just a smidgeon of pressure on the top of the foot will suffice. These are a great choice if you're looking for a traditional "mud boot" look, with plenty of room to stuff your pant legs into the contoured calf area. The Snake Guardz would then be placed on top of that. 3. br>br>4. br>br>5. br>br>6. Crocs AllCast [after this, it's a long way 4th, etc. ] Size 10 fits like a size 11 or possibly 10. Size 9. I suppose a 0 works as well as a 9. I could wear either of them around the house because they are both very comfortable. The tens, on the other hand, flop a lot and, even in nine, their heels slide. 0's. Very comfortable, but what is the point of the half-calf in these? It's more of a walk with the dog or a walk to work; if you go through streams, they'll fill up quickly. 4. br>br> Hisea: befuddling Although the sole is comfortable, the size 10 is closer to an 11. And it's bulky, with a lack of curve in the foot area. Unless you order at least three pairs to try on, finding a good fit will be difficult. I'd expect the mud to suffocate this boot, especially if it's in the water. 5. br>br> Technology by Servus called "Comfort": Heavy. Not bad for a rubber sole. It's fine if you only need to put it on to get something out of the car. I'm not in the mood for a long walk. Calf opening is VERY large. Your wife's purse could probably fit in there as well. 6. br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br> Snake-proof boots by LaCrosse Diamondback: I'd wear these if I were going to a snake-infested area and didn't have time to order them from Amazon. But, wow, this thing is heavy, stiff, and uncomfortable. br>br>The ONLY option I found to wear alone or with waders for waterproof fishing/hunting/hiking or fossil/relic hunting [not brand] that covers ALL the bases [functionality, comfort, ankle support, and WATERPROOF]. The Seac [as in, water cannot enter through the top of the boot] br>br>I'll include a photo of all of the boots for easy visual comparison. I hope this information is useful. br>br>Best of luck, and please let me know if you have any other requests for reviews. I haven't gone out much since my three strokes. br>br>Carpe Diem is a Latin phrase that means "take advantage of the situation. " br>br>This could be your first or one of your first reviews. br>br>Please give it a thumbs up.

I needed comfortable, rugged boots for the farm, and everything under $100 seemed to be made of plastic or poorly constructed
5/5

I've only had them for a few days, but I already know they'll be useful. To begin, they're made of rubber and neoprene, just like the more expensive brands. Second, the build appears to be solid and of high quality. The third point to mention is how well the pieces fit together. It's a little tight around the ankle and calf, but it fits well around the foot. We live on the side of a mountain, so there's a lot of up and down hill walking, and these are fantastic. Last but not least, despite my reservations about the tread pattern on the soles, they appear to hold up well in wet, slick conditions. Did I mention they're backed by a LIFETIME WARRANTY? Oh, and did I mention that they also included a waterproof phone case? These boots are probably one of the best Amazon bargains I've ever found.

It's been less than a month since I've had water inside my boots
3/5

I waited almost two weeks to write a review for these boots because they didn't work for me. I work in a place where there's water almost everywhere, and the water gets into my boots. I'd like my money back. br>br>The positive aspects are that they're comfortable and well-protected.

These are appropriate in certain situations
5/5

I bought these to keep my feet warm and dry while doing what I consider light work, such as snow removal and walking through water to put the suction hose in place to drain the yard after overland flooding. They've done exactly what they were supposed to do. I wouldn't recommend these for the type of heavy work that a farmer, rancher, or construction worker might do, or if you have to wear them every day because I don't think the soles will last, but they are perfect for occasional wear. Flexible in its approach. The inserts do not provide arch support or dropped item protection; after all, these are rubber boats. Your own inserts will fit perfectly, as they did for me. The boot is well constructed, with well-sealed seams and excellent fit and finish. It's worth a shot, especially since Prime members get free returns. I did that and happy to keep them saving nearly 50%.

A Good Rain, Snow, and Ice Boot for Occasional Use
4/5

I gave it four stars, not because of the quality, but because of the price. br>br>The boots are excellent; I use them for snow, hunting, and simply walking my dogs in the rain. br>br>The seams aren't perfect, with visible glue marks running the length of the seams, but they've held up well. br>br>They are both comfortable and well-insulated. br>br>I ordered them in my regular size boot and they are slightly larger than I expected, which I like because it allows me to wear thicker woolen socks if necessary. br>br>If you work in mud boots every day, I would not recommend these and would still recommend muckboots because I do not believe they will hold up to daily abuse. br>br>The treads are straight line treads with surprising traction on snow, ice, and slick surfaces. br>br>I believe these are worthwhile to buy for occasional use.

These are most likely the best waterproof boots money can buy
5/5

These will be used for boating. I always have to take a step into the water before loading my fishing kayak or bass boat. I couldn't wear my waterproof hiking shoes because they were too short, and I'd get water in them. I went fishing with them and wore them for over 8 hours. br>br>These boots go up just below my knee, so I never have that problem anymore. br>br>I went fishing with them and wore them for over 8 hours. They were comfortable to wear, didn't make my feet sweat, and kept me warm on a chilly morning. br>br>I wish there was a little more cushioning, but for $30, it's hard to go wrong. Only time will tell how long they will last, and if they start to show signs of wear, I will update this review.
