New Balance Men's 840 V4 Running Shoe

Since I started running the past two years, I've been wearing NB 840V3 (Version 3). I have been disappointed with modifications to a shoe that I like in the past. As a result, I was skeptical when I put the NB 840V4 shoes on for the first time. We were pleasantly surprised by how great they were! I found they have even better cushioning than the V3s. Although it was only a 3 mile run, it was still a long The longer the runs, the better. I will need to try longer runs and see how well they work. Please note In my forefoot, I have a wider heel, and in my heel, I have a narrower hole. As a neutral runner, I don't have a preference. My feet have a hard time finding comfortable shoes. There was some discussion about these. With these, I went ahead and got the special $40 New Balance insoles as well. The shoes arrived with insoles at about the same time, and I immediately ripped out the original insoles and replaced them with the "really awesome $40, 5 star insoles. ". My first impression was that they were the worst shoes I had ever The pain in my feet was killing me and I had never felt that way before, what could possibly be causing them to What a strange thing to see. I found these to be uncomfortable and tired on my feet. This pair of shoes totally turned me off. My anger was that I spent money on them and threw them in the closet. Normally, my partner wears my size shoe, so I loaned him mine to see how he liked them. After he came home from a run, he pretty much said the exact same thing as me. Insoles were said to be a major problem and he blamed them for being broken. A $40 pair of insoles receives 5 stars and reviews that say they are life changing, how can they be considered cheap? However, I no longer even touched the shoes for weeks after I no longer felt any fondness for them. During that process, I discovered the original insoles in boxes that I was throwing away. In that case, I swapped them. Oh my gosh! I love these sneakers more than anything else I've ever owned! You won't believe how amazing they are! Despite being lightweight, they are still very strong. I love how comfortable it is. The shoes are really cool. It's been a while since I have worn NB shoes, and my previous pair, the 840 V3, were discontinued, so I picked these up. I notice an obvious difference in fit between this and the previous shoe, which was too large in the forefoot area. There have also been a few cheapening moves by NB, including the deletion of the lace keeper between the bottom two eyelets, the deletion of the reinforcements on the lace eyelets, and who knows what else. I found the material to have a majority of plastic, and a minority of Rather than spend any money until I see these products in person, I would take a closer look at them first. My plan is to shop for other brands, NB is no longer the brand it once.

A New Balance store in Philadelphia has helped me decide on which shoe I should wear after I visited the store and received some advice. Those three were the 840v3, so when I saw the 840v4, I knew I had to give it a try. Despite the updated look and fit, this top is still a perfect fit. I wore them the day after receiving them and had no problems. Comfortable to wear for short walks on the weekends. Despite the fact that they are running shoes, I use them as my everyday shoes, as they are light weight and comfortable for me.

Since March I have been running in them, and so far the rubber in the heel area has practically worn through the midsole of the shoe. After only about 165 miles the rubber on the heel is gone, and the plastic midsole is almost gone. It should be noted that I have some heel striking (and I am not a big person, either) but I have never had a shoe wear out in this short time frame. It was my expectation that these shoes would be heavier and have a beefier sole, but I'm quite disappointed in their wear. It will be necessary for me to purchase my next running shoe elsewhere. My normal running shoes are New Balance, but this experience has made me less reliant on them.

With the inner sole out, he put one in and has now become a walking on clouds! There are certain sneakers that are best for people who weigh more. The only thing we wish was they were a bit cheaper so we could buy more than one pair at a time. Still, they're well worth the price.

They are my go to brand because they are roomy in the toe box which I love because I have bunions. I'm 220 pounds and I run long distance (10+ miles) and these shoes are my go to brand. In order to avoid having my feet squished, I order a half-size larger than the size of my business shoes. Due to their neutral design, these shoes are excellent for people who wear orthotics.

Good comfort is key. My preference would be to replace a pair that has worn out rather than get more mileage out of The difference is all in the details. As it turns out, it's imperative to get the correct fit, so I went to the New Balance store for the first pair and, for me, that required an insert as well. Once I figured out these were the real thing, I ordered the same.
