My son recently bought one for me, and I recently learned the hard way. When comparing the Tilley hat I bought 10 years ago to this one, the quality is horrendous. Furthermore, Tilly's website claims the hats are made in Canada, but this is untrue. The founder of this company, who sold the company in 2016, warned the new owners not to outsource production and damage But the new owners did not listen and switched from Western production to Chinese production to increase This is a shameful act In addition to destroying a legendary product, the quality of the product is deplorable. I advise you not to buy. In my opinion, this purchase was a terrible decision. Tilley hats have been a favorite of mine for many years. In the past, we have purchased many Tilley hats and they have carried a good reputation. I was disappointed that, despite being packed in a flat box, this hat was made of a flimsy fabric, not canvas. First of all, we are very impressed with the Tilley Endurables LTM6 Airflo Hat! The product is of high quality, the size 7 fits me perfectly. I ordered 375 from Amazon after the 7 1/4 was too small and tight on my head, so I recommended ordering the next size up from your normal size. Additionally, the first hat was shipped by Zappos in a box that is the correct size for the hat and arrived in perfect condition, but had to be sent back to Amazon due to its inability to fit.
