My intent was to take some kind of surfing gear with me when i go out in the middle of the day. This does not disappoint. When wet, it does not fall down the sides of my face, and it is just stiff enough for the brim to stay in place without frequent Usually, the strap stays in place without much trouble, but you'll have to tighten it up a bit as the surf varies in size. My usual practice is to loosen my harness while waiting for a wave, then strap in and catch it, then paddling out again. This hat is nice because of its bright color, its good material feel, and its well-made look.

I was looking for just this. The hat looks good on you. The floppy hat is well made and not too big. There were no wrinkles or creases on it when it arrived. This is a great item to wear to the beach, to a theme park, and at Colours are the same as in the images. Nothing to complain about.
