I love it. When you feel confident that the sun will not shine on your neck and face, you'll be more relaxed.
You will still be protected by it
A person with a head size of about 24 inches is able to wear the hat.
In my lifelong sailing career, I am aware that there is no hat that is truly windproof on a boat without a chin strap, which is what this hat has.

Since I love the hat, I can't give it a one star rating. I am just disappointed I need to return the item. This hat is of cheap craftsmanship and came out of the box already falling apart. It would not last long if it was regularly worn.
According to my expectations, I received the following I wish I could find something similar that didn't look like something my mother would wear when she gardens. So far, the quality appears to be fine. The neck flap isn't something I was sure I would love, but I wanted to at least try it out as a stage 3 melanoma survivor. As for the chinstrap, I think it will be very useful. Now that I have a hat to protect me when driving with the windows or sun roof open in the summer, I won't have to worry about it flying For some people, the hat's size may be a negative. It comes with a string to adjust it to fit your head, but it can also be adjusted to fit smaller or larger heads. I find that I'm most comfortable when I wear the largest size. It's all well and good for me, but I don't really consider myself to have a big head (unless someone told me I had a big head). It is important to note that, if you think that your head is large, you may want to study the measurements carefully. It's not going to be easy for me to update this review to feature new thoughts, so if you come across this review and it's been a while, please feel free to pop a question in a comment and I might be able.
My husband spends every spare moment in the garden, so this hat was a gift to him. Since many years ago, he has worn the Sunday Afternoon adventure hat and one of them has disappeared. To find a hat with similar coverage and good ventilation, I decided to look online. Our new Sunday Afternoons hat has a wider brim and more coverage of the neck than the Sunday Afternoons hat we have both grown to love. I have had the good fortune to spend many holidays on safari (for South Africa is the place where I was born), and this hat does indeed fit for safari! My face is pretty small, so I find that the hat is a little big It is the right thing to have a sun hat that is this delightful for my dearest and I will purchase more to gift to my friends and family whose skin needs protection from the sun. This is a fabulous hat!.
Keeping his neck cool was the objective of my son's request for a hat. Hopefully, this will do the trick. We leave the house with the flap out every time he wears it. I already have plenty of use out of it since we go outside a lot.
Lightweight sun hat that is great for hot days. It was a good choice for sun protection when I went kayaking today. No matter how strong the wind gusted (15 to 30 mph) the hat stayed put on my head. Since it was only 91 degrees today, the real test will be on days with temperatures that are well over 100 degrees in Texas this summer. This hat seems like it will be sufficient for the job. Kayaking is made easier with this hat because it provides you with shade over your shoulders and back. It's surprising that even with the wide brim, the field of vision is still quite wide. Most of the sweat is kept out of your eyes by the headband. It would not be necessary for me to wear a bandana or dew rag underneath this hat, but if those are the style you prefer, go for it. To adjust the rear toggle, simply move the lever to the desired position. Rather than being able to cinch the hat behind my ears when the wind is gusty and the strap doesn't rub against my skin, my one complaint is that I would like the chin strap to be moved slightly backwards so it does not rub against my skin. I am really just making a small nitpick about one of the best hats out there. There is a wide neck flap on this hat, and I think it would be an excellent piece of headwear for anyone doing field work in archaeology or paleontology as well as anyone who spends hours in painful heat (the sun is relentless on people's backs). Additionally, I think I'm reminded of those sun bonnets pioneer women used to wear when traveling across the prairies in covered wagons. I thought those women were tough and smart ( A few were in my family, including my great, great grandmother). My heritage and spirit are very important to me, and I am proud to wear Your opinion is important to me as well.
There is no point to paying for this. It's a hat I'm disappointed with. The price of this hat was cheaper when I first saw it. In the past few days, the price has been rising. There's a good chance it's because the seller is popular or simply greedy. I guess it's just a matter of time before this ends A hat that costs more than a hat should be worth on it. If it were $10 cheaper, it would be worthwhile. I don't know. There are plenty of these hats around here in the same styles I have seen, so I think they would be a better choice. In the case I received, the seamstress had a bad day and there were numerous mistakes in the sewing. There needs to be some quality control to ensure the customer is not This hat only protects your face from the sun on your face and neck, and that's the only good thing I can add. What makes the hat really bad is that the interior becomes too hot, and your head starts to cook. It doesn't do anything to open the small vents. It has a band inside it. As my heat increased, the hat became a big sweatband. I had to constantly remove the hat to cool off. The fabric might have been good at blocking the sun, but it certainly retained My return request would have gone through if I had not worn this hat. Summer days are too hot for me to wear this. There might be cooler days in spring and in fall.
It is usual for me to buy up to two sunblock My spring wardrobe seems to include a lot of hats because I seem to struggle to find something that is both useful and attractive. This time, I got it right on the first try. I love it! I love that it is adjustable to fit my small head, that the brim is wide as it should be, and that the neck protector fits perfectly. There is a chin attachment on the sweatband so that you can wear it when its windy and blustery outside. The weather here has been rainy for 40 days and 40 nights (well, not quite that long) so far, so I haven't tried the print in the sun. My neck is kept dry by wearing it I keep the rain from running down the back of my neck. )
Turning to editing A hat like this can be worn all summer long. A friend of mine just bought one for me.
All of this has been worth the effort. While working in the garden and creating flower beds, I have worn this hat multiple times and actually stay cooler than if I did not wear it. I don't want to have sunburned faces and necks, so that's why I wear it. It may not appear very attractive, but it prevents sunburn. think this is one of the best buys!.
