Also surprising is the fact that Squashed isn't. Soft and comfortable, and it fits easily. This is a very nice hat for the price, especially for the price. Since it states 100% Paper inside, I didn't have high expectations for how well it would perform in wet conditions, but I've soaked it completely and it dried out without losing its shape or discoloring. The following update has been made The soaking has been repeated many times I can still use it.
Update Due to my love for the first one, I bought a second one. This hat came to me in a plastic bag completely squashed by the post office. Surprisingly, it has popped back into shape and is fine.

Having a large head for a woman and lots of hair, I have a fairly large head. Hats for men are what I usually shop for. It was a bit loose on me due to my choosing the larger size for the hat. It never happens like that! It is going to be too small for the smaller size, but I still plan to keep it. This hat is cute, so now I can wear it! When it arrived, it was in a plastic bag and a bit scrunched up, but once it dried, it looked like new. Some of the other reviews said it could be packed up easily and it appears to be that way.

We were on an island destination, and I didn't want to wear baseball hats so that I didn't have to face the sun and weather. I took a chance on this purchase and I'm glad I did. I found it to be a great solution for my huge The suitcase is not only extremely practical and functional, but also looks quite nice. It is fully packable and adjustable and managed to hold its shape regardless of my behavior. In the near future, I will purchase an additional one in a different color for resort wear.

Stylish hat made of thick straw in good quality. Fits a large head comfortably and is well made. This garment comes in a light beige/ivory color in a size large. Exactly as pictured, both in terms of color and appearance. There is only one complaint I have, which is the hard top of the hat. The feeling is different, but I'm not sure if it's because I need a smaller size or if it's just the way it should be. There is a double thickness of material in the center of the hat so that it stays "sunken" on my head, but I constantly feel the weight of that weight There is something very strange and uncomfortable about this The hat does seem to last though. To alleviate this sensation, I have either pulled the hat further down on my head or cocked it to the side. I haven't traveled with it yet to see how it packs, but it seems thick enough to keep.
