At 3 my daughter is totally different from her 4T, and I decided to get her a 5T. She shrank the 3T after a few washes when she was 2 because I got her the 3T at 2. My recommendation is to get a size up. She looks great in the shirt. Doesn't look too big or too small. She looks perfect in it. As of right now, she wears a size 4.
