Yes, hello there! When I first got them, they only lit up in red while charging; they have a button to set up to change colors; they should both light up, and if one of them isn't working, you'll have to replace it; sorry for the inconvenience; I know you're excited to get them.

For the seven times they can be used before becoming useless, the price is not worth it. 6/02 update: br>My son's ankles have straight up wounds from the USB port, and the soles have worn down excessively over the course of about 5 wears. You'll get a month out of these, but your kid will most likely be sick of the gimmick by then. I would not recommend it.

This pair of shoes is stylish. But all I wanted were shoes that lit up when you moved or took a step. Unless you turn them off, they stay lit at all times. If you had a reason for them, I think they're cool, but I think the constant light is distracting. I'm going to keep them because the kid enjoys them. They appear to be of reasonable quality, but I just got them today. The only way to find out is to wait.

Rubber chemical has a strong odor to it! Allow for some airing! There would only be one shoe that lit up. When I plugged the charger into the other, the shoe's red lights began to flash and would not turn off. So one shoe works perfectly, while the other fails miserably!
