Last year, my kids' pair saw a lot of action, and they did get a little smelly. I used to rinse them thoroughly before sprinkling baking soda on the insoles. Allow to sit for a few hours or overnight before rinsing with cool water and drying in a well-ventilated area. I used a teeny bit of Dawn (just a drop) to wash them if they were really bad. The odor will return, but I think it was worth it for the amount of use we got out of those things!

The footwear is fantastic. They are loved by my daughter and can be used for almost anything, so we don't have to plan ahead. These would be ideal if we were sneaking to the beach after a concert on our way to an amusement park. )br>br>She, too, is a fan of the color. br>br>I've had a pair similar to these from Vivobarefoot for adults for four years and love them.
The fit is loose, similar to crocs, but they don't slip off my son's foot unless he's wearing socks, in which case they get pulled off. They're cuter (in my opinion) than crocs and have a barefoot sole, which means there's no lift and is better for the foot. I wish they offered adult sizes for this design. They are very appealing to me.
These were purchased as a summer gift for my two sons. My only issue is that they won't be able to wear them to the playground because all of the small rocks, dirt, and wood will constantly get inside! Please think about it before you buy, because I didn't.
They are the most incredible pair of water shoes that our children have ever owned. We tried a lot of different brands, but these are by far the best; they're sturdy and secure without being constrictive or irritating. They also appear to be fantastic. I wish there were more of these in the world - Both children and adults can benefit from this activity. I'd buy them all for my family.
This is the second pair of shoes that our son has worn. He adores these, despite the fact that he despises wearing shoes. The first pair lasted a year and were ideal for hiking, swimming, running, and other activities.
Even though the numerical sizes on the shoes reflected the same size, the left and right sides of the shoes were two different sizes.
My son refuses to wear any other brand (we've tried Keans and others). They're easy to clean and make excellent summer sandals and water shoes. It was simple for him to get going on his own. I do machine wash them every now and then, but otherwise they just need soap and water (or a rinse when they get dirty) to keep them smelling fresh.
I despise the fact that our daughter's kindergarten requires all of the children to wear "indoor shoes" throughout the day. I believe it is healthier for them to walk around barefoot or with only socks on. (If you're worried about your socks slipping, special non-slip socks are available. ) Soles that do not slip ) These were a good compromise, as they allowed us to comply with kindergarten rules while also allowing our daughter's feet to develop more naturally.
