These have a really cool metallic blue to them. These shoes are extremely popular among my daughter's peers. The Velcro wings that can be removed are fantastic. She enjoys taking them off and putting them on her back XD They are easy to charge and have a bright light. I'm a big fan of the shoelaces. Without the need for a double knot, stretch shoe strings keep the bow from unraveling. I bought a similar pair for her last year, and despite the fact that she wore them frequently, they still look brand new. This is an excellent shoe.
My son only wore this shoe ONCE before the LED stopped working, which was the primary reason for my purchase. br>My nephew purchased a pair of LED gold shoes from a different retailer, has worn them several times, and continues to work. I don't recommend it because it's clearly inferior.
My daughter loves these shoes because they are true to size. She enjoys wearing them because they are comfortable and do not cause blisters. She claims they make her run faster and jump higher, making her feel like a Greek goddess. However, there are some drawbacks. The light switch is located between the top of the ankle and one of the wings, which is an inconvenient location. As a result, it's very easy to turn on the lights while walking, tying your shoe, putting on your shoes, or even picking up your shoes to put them away. In addition, the lighting is faulty. When the lights flash, one of the shoes is wired so that each shoe flashes in a different pattern. In addition, when the lights are turned on, they flash red and blue. in addition to being extremely bright. This is especially problematic if they are accidentally turned on in a vehicle because they resemble emergency vehicle lights. The lights are only on one side of the shoe sole and do not wrap around the entire sole. It is also reported that the shoes are being put on. They have elastic laces, which are actually more difficult to use than regular laces (due to their short length). To put it on, you must unlace the high-top section of the shoe and re-lace it. Once you've got it on your foot, lace it up. The laces must pass through the wings and the shoe, which is actually quite difficult because there is no loop on the tongue of the shoe (for the laces to hold it in place) and there is no loop on the back of the shoe to hold it up while you put your shoes on. When compared to regular sneakers, putting these shoes on takes twice as long for my daughter. The soles are that foamy rubber; they're comfortable and shock-absorbing, but they don't wear well or last long, and they don't provide good traction. It also doesn't leave any scuff marks on the floor, which is a plus. The shoes are USB rechargeable and come with two charging cables, one for each shoe. So there are a few advantages and disadvantages, but my daughter enjoys wearing them, so they fall into the "would recommend if your child enjoys Greek mythology" category.
These shoes are glitzy to the point of being obnoxious. The outside is gleaming, and the wings protrude slightly. Furthermore, the shoes are illuminated. This one was difficult for me to assign a rating to. I'm not a fan of these because the lights are always on or off. There's nothing there. between. I'm used to them having a sensor that turns on when someone walks by and turns off otherwise, but these don't. I'd give them three stars, but my daughter adores them, so I'll give them a four. They are comfortable to wear, and the soles breathe well, so she does not sweat as much as she does in other sneakers. br>br>I'm glad these came with the quick pull lace holders because my 5-year-old is still learning to tie her shoes and wants these for school. The wings are Velcro-attached and can be taken off. If you decide to keep them on, I recommend lacing the shoes through the holes in the wings and the shoe. This way, if they get caught on something, they won't be ripped off and lost. br>br>The charger port is tucked into the side of the shoe top, so you don't notice it, and my daughter doesn't touch it. Turning the lights on and off is as simple as pressing a button. She isn't hesitant to use it. I'm just waiting for her teacher to send me an email letting me know the shoes are on. They come with a dual charger, so you only have to plug one end into a power outlet to charge both shoes at the same time. I'm not sure how long they'll last; it all depends on how much you use them. I'm trying to make it a habit to charge these once a week, and I'm hoping they stay charged. br>br>Finally, I'd like to mention something. These are extremely useful at trade shows and in stores. You can't help but notice your child no matter which way you turn because the lights are so bright. I had no trouble keeping up with her in the crowd because our local fair runs after sunset.
