If she's short and only plans on wearing them for a year, a size small is probably best. If she's tall and you need some room to grow, go with a medium size.

For cheer, this is a great warm-up jacket

Warmups for my daughter's cheerleading squad were required. The team had arranged for them to be sold at a nearby store, but the price was exorbitant. I was overjoyed to discover that this jacket and the matching pants were available separately, as they were a perfect match and half the price, and the jacket fit perfectly. My daughter's name and the team's name were added to the jacket by a friend who does screen printing. No one could tell the difference because it was so similar.

Sizing is a little off, but it's still super cute

The jacket is incredibly appealing. Our 9-year-old, however, wears a size 10, so we order a girls large. This jacket (LG 10/12) was enormous! It appears to be a sm or medium size for women.

It was a complete waste of both time and money

Smaller than a gnat's eye. I'm 5'5" and weigh around 150 pounds. After reading reviews, I decided to buy two sizes larger than my usual size. These are clearly designed for dwarfs no bigger than a third-grader.

A small issue with the zipper

It appears to be in excellent condition. These were used for competitions involving teams of dancers. We still look sharp despite the fact that a few of them don't have working zippers.
