This is something I bought for my gymnastics-loving granddaughter. I ordered a size 10 for her because she is nine years old. I'm not sure if it'll be big enough. She's a svelte young lady. She is, however, quite tall. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the jacket. I was a little put off by some of the reviews, but I'm glad I ordered it to check it out for myself. It's adorable, and the craftsmanship is excellent. I was so taken with it that I ordered another dance jacket for my other granddaughter. I also ordered the next size up in case the one I received wasn't large enough. I was worried that if I didn't order it right away, I wouldn't be able to get it. They'd be gone in a matter of days. These jackets, I believe, will be a big hit with them. Warm-up jackets for gymnastics and dance. They'll be a huge hit, in my opinion.
I got her a size 8 because she is 4 feet 3 inches tall and slender. It's just right, and there's plenty of room for growth. Also, I purchased a pair for myself.
