A jacket that performs as well as ones that cost many times more. A boys ski jacket with the snow skirt that was not at least $150 bucks was not to be found in my area, even though I live in a winter climate. I am glad I ordered online. Jacket fits perfectly for my 8-year-old son, but he is slightly smaller than average, so you may want to order a size up if your child is average or large sized. The jacket he wears everyday is the same one he wears during the winter & Skiing in freezing temperatures and has always loved it, never complaining about how cold it is. Additionally, he was delighted to see that the sleeve lining has thumb holes, just like the adult jackets do.

It has a defective hood

The coat does not appear to have gone through a quality check before being shipped. The following issues need to be addressed. 1) The hood on the coat doesn't fit around the neck of my son, making it impossible to fasten it without I don't see why the velcro fasteners shouldn't be able to reach each other, as my son is quite small for his age. 2) They did reach the velcro patches, but only on one side of the hood, not both. Because of this, they would not be able to stick to each other closely. When velcro is used, it has one side that is prickly and the other side that sticks to it which gives them the ability to There were two soft patches on this hood. 3) Finally, even if they were the RIGHT patches, both patches were attached on the OUTSIDE of the hood, instead of one overlapping the other to keep it in place! As it turns out, the coat will have to be returned because the hood can't be used. My son was very excited about the coat.

Winter coat that is perfect for the cold

It was a little hesitant for me to buy this brand since it was unknown to me, though I searched and searched in stores and couldn't find what I wanted. My son loves this jacket for its warmth, its comfort, the hood that zips off, the thumb holes, the snow skirt, and the bright color, so even when walking to school, my kid can be seen. Due to reviews I read, I knew the jacket ran small and so I ordered a size up (5/6) and it turned out to be the perfect fit for my very tall 4 year old. So far, the jacket exceeds expectations, even though we haven't had a chance to use it yet.

The sweater is thick and will keep Alaskans warm during cold months! get this for a very reasonable price and I love the orange color so I can keep track of my little guy wherever he goes. I haven't tested durability yet, but will report on this during the winter since a rough and tumble little boy has been using and abusing it.

This winter coat has a fur lining

A couple of coats for my niece and nephew, ages 9 and 10. The coats they were wearing in the past are size 10. A 14-pack is on the way There are some issues with the arms of the coat, but it fits them well. Nice coats, the boys like the style, and it appears that they will stay warm in them.

It was made for a low price. The stitches are bad! Purchasing this jacket for my grandson, 8, was a great investment.
