I believe it will be quite large, and all you will need to do is repair the buttons. This was purchased for my 2-year-old daughter in an 18-month-old baby. Last year, she wore it for 24 months and it was still a good fit.
A little, but the straps kept falling off, so I had to criss-cross them.
There was some stretch, but it wasn't much. I'd go up a size because it seemed a little small on me.

These overalls were purchased as part of my 15-month-old son's Halloween costume. 12- He should have been able to wear 18 months, but they are a little tighter than I expected (he is currently in 18 months). If you're set on purchasing these pants, I'd suggest going up a size. Anyway, I only gave them a one-star rating because we lost a button after only one wash. There's nothing to be concerned about. However, after he wore them a second time, one of the buttons fell off. I wanted him to be able to wear these instead of just wearing them as a costume, but I'm not sure I'll put him in them again until Halloween. I'm hoping he'll be able to squeeze himself into them.
It's very relaxing. For my daughter's birthday, I was looking for an overall she could wear. She'd be dressed as a train conductor for the occasion. I bought it in size 4t for my daughter so she could wear it in the future, but it was a little too big for her, so I had to adjust it. I also added some Thomas patches to the ripped areas to make it more personal for her theme. The overall is constructed of stretchy material (as part of the design). It was a hit with her.
These are fantastic! They're stretchy, so my little one can wear them comfortably. I like that the legs are long so he can wear them for a long time, and the strap buttons were too low for my son, so I simply moved one set of buttons to where he needed them. (They're super simple to make because they're just regular buttons), and I'll be able to move them as he grows! Excellent value for money!.
My 2- year- For Halloween, my eight-year-old son wanted to be Mario, and these overalls were perfect. He was 35 pounds and the 3T was perfect for him. They even included a package of stickers, which he was overjoyed to receive. Denim was warm and stretched a little, making him feel at ease. On a chilly night, trick or treating My only gripe is that they always leave little blue fuzzies on his legs, no matter how many times I wash them. So they were great for what I needed them for, but unless I layer something underneath them, I won't be able to wear them as often as I'd like.
After searching numerous stores for black overalls for my son's Holloween costume, I decided to order it. He had aspirations of becoming a purple minion. The item has left me a little disappointed. I didn't realize it came from South Korea until I tracked the package, so the quality isn't great. The metal hooks are of poor quality, and the fabric was already rusting from them. I'm going to toss it in the washer and hope it doesn't shrink or fall apart; you can find good quality overalls at a lower price at the thrift store, but I couldn't find black overalls there either:.
For my daughter, I should've gone down a size. To make matters worse, the material is extremely thin, which is fine for the summer, but I had hoped for a higher quality material, as stated in the description. (I made a poor purchase, and while I shouldn't have had to, I'll make sure to ask questions before purchasing. ) One thing I can say is that the embroidery and small details are a great touch.
These are a little long for my daughter, but she is short, so it's not a deal breaker. It's a well-made design with a cute design. It doesn't appear to be cheap in the least.
