Authentic Quality (Size T3)br>2- Adjustable and if you roll up the ankles 2xs down to a small 2T(my boy now) so I see these lasting two years "size wise" which is rare for kidsbr>clothesbr>3) Cuts down laundry bc I just throw these over his daily clothes with a coat and he can play outside. And if you know carhartt you know you don't need to wash them until you neeeeed to wash them so unless he swim It's been three weeks since I've done any laundry. br>4) Warm on their own, but can get quite warm depending on what pants you wear under them. br>5) Not too big or small for mobility and outdoor play.
I bought these for my two-year-old daughter (in a size 4T) and she absolutely loves them! We bought two sizes up because I wanted to be able to use them for a few years. The bottoms are simply rolled. They keep her clothes clean and warm while we work on the farm at night. They also don't limit her movement, which is fantastic. I would buy them again in a heartbeat.
My daughter will look adorable in the overalls. When she goes out, she wears them, and her clothes remain clean and dry. The fit appears to be identical to the description. I ordered a size 2t, and they are roomy enough to fit over her clothes without being too big.
My almost two-year-old has beaten the crap out of these things, and they've handled everything he's thrown at them. Snow (if it isn't too cold), mud, dirt, and water (though they aren't waterproof). These are some of the best clothes that my wife and I have ever bought for our son. They look brand new after a quick wash. We ordered the 3T size so he could grow into them, so they're a little big, but we just roll the bottoms up.
br>br>I purchased these for my toddler to wear during our Christmas family photo shoot as well as something he could wear frequently during the upcoming cold winter months. br>br>The color is perfect and matches the product image perfectly. It's simple to get a hold of him (and my son is a squirmer!). br>The inside is lined with a cute pattern (which is even cuter if you roll the legs up if they're too long) and it appears to be quite warm. It has side clips to make it easier to put on, but I like how the clips are "hidden" behind what appear to be real buttons. There are actual pockets in it. The buttons, clips, and other accessories are all of excellent quality. Plus, I can adjust the strap length so that my son can wear them for a long time!br>br>The only drawback is that there are buttons all the way down the inside of the legs for diaper changes. This is fantastic, but the fabric is so thick that it's difficult to slide up. When I'm changing him, it's easier for me to just remove everything instead of using the buttons. (Perhaps it's just a personal issue for me. ).
**a year later, read the update** I'm glad I took the time to read the reviews and assess the situation. My child is thirteen months old, weighs twenty-four pounds, and stands 34 inches tall. I believe the 12 month size would have fit, but the bibs are slightly longer this way, allowing his legs to grow into them. It's ideal for throwing on so he can play outside without ruining his clothes or becoming cold. br>br>Update: he is now 22 months old and weighs 32 pounds. The coveralls are nearly too small at this point. They've lasted a long time, and I'll be able to pass them on to other children or friends. Make sure to order a size larger to ensure that they last as long as possible. I also wish I had sewed the inseam buttons shut. We spent a lot of time re-fitting them as soon as they fit. tucking those teeny-tiny snaps into their pockets.
My 16-month-old toddler's outdoor play outfit is a pair of really nice thick overalls. We really let him run around in the yard, and if there's a steeper hill (well, a steep hill when you're two feet tall), he backward army crawls his way down, which has worn out a few less durable outfits. I tried to find a less expensive pair of Oshkosh overalls, but they were too thin for outdoor play, so this is a better option for us. These overalls have a good weight to them, which I like. They're a little big, but I grew two months in size. They do balloon out a little because my baby is so thin, but I think they'll last us a long time.
These are incredible. Scuffs, dirt, and hardcore wear are all a thing of the past. My daughter works hard and crawls through these. There hasn't been any damage that I've noticed so far. I ordered a size 12M for my daughter, who weighs 23 pounds and stands 28 inches tall. She'll be 14 months old in a couple of weeks. I bought them when she was 12M and they fit perfectly, but with some room for growth, if that makes sense. The straps are adjustable and the bottoms can be rolled up once. She usually wears leggings and a sweater underneath because it's winter. They're a little bigger, in my opinion. You can always roll them up and secure the straps, as I previously stated. What are you waiting for? Go out and purchase them now!.
