Selected User Reviews For AMVR VR Headset Display Stand and Controllers Holder for Steam Valve Index Virtual Reality Mount Station
As you might have guessed from the other reviews, it's not designed for index or even most VR sets. This is ideal for use with the Rift and quest sets. The ring of the controller was perfectly positioned in the side grooves. That said, outside of some expensive custom pieces, there isn't exactly an index stand available at the time of writing this. For the index, this is sufficient. Yes, the controllers must be hung backwards, but it serves as a stand.
This stand is well-balanced, sturdy, and will not topple over like some of the videos you've seen. br>br>The key is to properly position the headset on the cradle, which shifts the weight to the back. The strap isn't down where it should be in the back in most of the bad reviews/viedos, which makes everything front heavy. br>br>It also works well with the index controllers and prevents them from hitting the table. I wish it came with a cheap universal lens cover or something to wrap the cable around, but that's something I can easily make myself. If you want to keep your headset safe, it's well worth the money.
However, in practice, it continues to support the Index, so don't be concerned. Everything is in excellent condition, and the purchase was well worth it. It's far preferable to having strewn about the room various pieces of VR gear.
You're looking at the stand you'll get, and it's ideal for holding the headset and controllers in place. I'm at a loss for words. br> It's a cute little package that works, and if you're feeling extra creative, you can even use it to hide cords when looped through it.
JOTORO! It's a stance.
does not correspond to the valve index Plastic point-of-sale device with a value of less than $5. The Amazon is flooded with Chinese garbage.
Contrary to what is advertised on the page, it is not made specifically for the Index and instead claims to be a universal HMD stand on the box. It doesn't even appear to be capable of supporting the Index. Its controllers work well, but it falls over frequently during pickup due to its light weight, and the controllers touch the surface of whatever the stand is sitting on.
Valve Index has the perfect table stand.
