There are only two screws on it. It will have holes in it, just like any other picture frame or anything else you hang on the wall, but they will be small. However, if you just use the adhesive, it won't cause any problems.
Yes. With the index, the mount will work.
I keep a close eye on the situation. I balled the drywall hold and then drilled it with a 7/32" drill bit, which worked perfectly with the drywall anchors that came with the product. Simply compare the anchor's 'core' shaft diameter to the drill bit's 'core' shaft diameter. Best of luck!
Hi Blake. Although it comes with drywall screws and anchors, some customers have reported attaching it to their walls with their own two-sided vhb tape.

I bought it to add to my Valve index. There are two major issues: br>br>1) The way the strap would rest on the holders would wear out the padding on the back of the headset over time. br>br>2) It would store the headset face down, allowing dust to settle on the lenses (a design flaw that all headsets have).
Screws (included) are used to secure it to the wall. The end result is very nice and straightforward. This is an excellent suggestion. It's a cinch to use. It appears to be in good condition. They're the ones who came up with this concept when the manufacturers haven't even thought about how these $700 headsets should be stored safely. In any case, excellent work. I dig it.
They are perfectly capable of holding my Rift S and Valve Index. It comes highly recommended!.
With one change, it'd be perfect. I used to just store my rift s in the box with wires coming out the side after getting it; I wanted to find a space for this strange thing, but with a small room and no real shelf space within reach of the PC, this was the only option because other stands couldn't really be mounted on the wall. If you're in a similar situation, this is a great option; just keep in mind that a lens cover is required. That is a must. br>I personally use the one that came with the amvr pleather foam facial interface - it is excellent. The nose cutout does not interfere with presence tracking when turned upside down, so the HMD goes offline in non-use. (However, I'm straying from the topic. ) br>If there's one thing I'd change, it's this: Please cushion the middle metal bar that holds the HMDs (you could also cushion the controllers, but that isn't as important) - I've noticed that the back foam is becoming indented as a result of sitting on bare metal. br>Oh, and the metal should probably be angled down a little; When mounted, the HMD rubs up against the wall unless it's right on the edge, in which case the thin strip of metal indentates the foam even more.
But not in the way that was advertised. Is there a similarity between this photo and the ones listed? br>They call it gunmetal grey. Perhaps. They show something that appears to be black or dark gray. br>Then they send shiny chrome screws, not the black screws you can see in some of the photos, but screws that go perfectly with the "gunmetal definitely-" look. not- a deep gray" And when I say perfectly, I don't mean it. br>br>Way too expensive a purchase for these discrepancies. Will almost certainly be back. br>br>.
It does exactly what it says, and my virtual reality headsets look fantastic on my wall. I've started putting a microfiber cloth over the lenses to keep the light from my ceiling from damaging the screens. Cable management for non-electrical devices These stands make using wireless HMDs a breeze. This purchase has made me very happy. br>br>.
This is a great storage solution because it's small and easy to install. It works perfectly for the Valve Index and has never given me any problems.
