It's not going to work.
The number 3 is written on it. br>In a Freightliner truck, I used one. It was hung from the roof window. When I was in a signal-rich area, it worked flawlessly. It will not work if there isn't a signal to boost.
Firechachi, you are correct. br>br>The piece with the single, long antenna is placed on the outside of the glass, while the other piece is placed directly on top of it (covering it).
However, there was no difference in the reception on the vehicle's rear view mirror.

I followed the manufacturer's instructions to the letter, but it had no effect on signal strength. I tried it in several locations across Oregon to see if it would help increase signal strength, but it didn't work anywhere. I strongly advise you to refrain from purchasing this unless you enjoy wasting money. What you pay for is what you get, and this is a waste of money.
I was afraid of the negative feedback on similar products, but an antenna is less expensive than a new phone, so I decided to give it a shot. I did something different because I didn't want to attach to the window if it didn't work. I scotch taped the antenna and base together and mounted it on my dashboard, with my phone resting on the base piece antenna. On my way to and from work, I usually pass through dead zones. Day 2 had a couple of dead spots where I lost signal but quickly regained it. These were on my way to work and home, and I always had at least one line in the known dead spots. Normally, being in the vicinity of a large number of trucks causes signal loss (but not today). It's only day two, but so far it appears to be working. I lifted my phone off the antenna in one of the dead spots and lost signal, then placed it on the base and received signal. I got home while talking on the phone and didn't lose the connection. Due to a dropped signal, callbacks are normal. During a call, six times. Yesterday and today are both zero. Time will tell, but I'm pleased with the results so far.
I'm not sure what the other people's problems are, but this thing works perfectly! br>br>It was simple to set up and I noticed a difference right away. It's worth noting that the package specifies that it's not intended for use at home, but it works perfectly in the car. In addition, if there is no signal to amplify, nothing will happen, and you will be disappointed. br>br>I used to have trouble getting a signal in certain areas, which caused me to miss important information and prevent me from finishing my work until I drove somewhere where I could get a signal. That's all behind me now, and I can do whatever I want wherever I go, and I always appear to have service. br>br>To summarize, this device was inexpensive and simple to use, and it solved my problem of expecting my phone to work in mountainous, forested areas. You'll get a signal if there is one available. Simply do not attempt to bring it into the house. It pertains to your automobile.
This is for the conversion van I'm working on. There has been very little, if any, improvement in the signal. However, it's perfect for using as a decorative element on my van.
The product arrived quickly and in good condition. I ordered it for my apartment in order to bring the signal inside, and it does exactly that. It's a great product, and I'm glad I bought it.
As a result, every time I test my phone, something new happens. It was different every time I used the Cell Phone Signal Booster Antenna. I need to go somewhere where my phone is barely functional and see if the booster will be able to download data as it is supposed to. It is not necessary to spend $400 in order to test this booster. There's not much to lose if it doesn't work out. I've experimented with those that require 12 volts of power. One didn't seem to be worth the money. The other firm was acquired, and they no longer produce the products I used. It was only active for three years before ceasing to exist.
My desk is about two feet away from a good signal. I bought it in the hopes of extending the signal so I wouldn't have to use my phone while standing next to the window. I probably spent 2 hours trying to get this to work; I tried everything: different positions, different spots, different angles, inside and outside. nothing. This was a dream job for me. I searched the internet for information, tips, and videos but came up empty-handed. However, I did see it for $8 on another website. If you're still interested in purchasing one, please contact us.
