Exactly what I was looking for. The backing looks like the original and feels like the original as well. Just like its original backing, the backing is made of glass. The installation process is very simple. I literally had to replace the part in less than a minute. Several small tools and cleaners came along with the machine, which are useful, but in my case were not necessary. It is my only recommendation that you make sure everything is lining up before applying the new backing because once it is in place, it will remain there forever. There is already some adhesive on the product, so all that's left to do is to peel off the protective film and apply the new backing. This is good because it means it won't disappear and it's also some quality glue. This is a 100% recommendation.
In my experience, this was the simplest phone repair I have ever done. The included metal tool easily removed the old back after an initial run around the edge twice. I kept inserting it until at least 1/4" was inserted, and then it popped right out. While there is little you can damage in there, you can tilt the blade so that it points more towards the back of your phone as you remove it, rather than scraping its internals, and that should prevent any damage to the phone. My next step was to scrape any remaining adhesive from the phone, then wipe down the edges with an alcohol wipe. Finally, I removed the protective plastic from the lens of the camera. In fourth place, I used a saw to remove the plastic from over the adhesive on the new back of the button. Then, carefully place the new back on the phone and hold it firmly in place for a minute to allow the adhesive to grab on. Finally, I positioned 3 rubber bands around the phone overnight and doubled over the 3 included bands. On the seventh step, remove the rubber bands and the protective plastic. This is such a close copy of the original that it is hard to tell that it is My new back is highly functional, but I have yet to test whether it is waterproof. Using wireless charging is still a great experience.
It is a great product to replace glass. It comes pre-installed with adhesive. It was helpful to have the tool kit. The following tips will help you Before removing the broken glass back and covering the back of your phone with packing tape or some type of tape, cover the back with packing tape. By doing this, you will minimize the possibility of shards flying everywhere.
It was easy to install because the sticky tape was already glued to the glass. I loved the tools that came with the assembly, making taking the old glass off a breeze! Wear a safety sunglass if you're out in the sun! There is going to be a lot of glass breaking and shooting everywhere!.
I have written two so far. I broke the first one when I dropped the phone on a tile floor when I changed my sim card. The reason I am showing the photo of a broken one is to demonstrate that it is DEFINITELY made out of My thoughts were similar to those of some other reviewers in that it felt like plastic.
The old glue was softened by using a hair dryer. The tool was used to cut the To clean the old film, ISO has to be used. The camera cover can be removed from the inside of the camera. Thanks to my not heating the glue to activate it before testing the camera, I didn't risk damaging it. After I heated and pried off three sides, removed clear film and set before adhesive wouldn't work, I was able to rove clear film over a sheet. Be sure the fit is tight by rubbing the sides. The heavy object should be left on the table I've found it to be much easier than I expected although it was quite difficult to remove the old adhesive I give it a 4-out-5 rating.
I am extremely grateful to the opening tool for providing such quick and easy access to my back. Taking a look on YouTube for tips on how to remove the old back makes me wonder how I would have done without it. Fortunately, the new back cover already has an adhesive backing, so it was a simple matter to install it once the old one was off. Verizon customers should note that while the back is very similar to the old back, it is not the exact same as the old back.
In spite of the fact that it's said in the ad, this is not an OEM replacement classback. It's made of plastic, so know what you're.
