The original back glass cracked when I was removing it to change the battery and I had to purchase a new one. As it turns out, I didn't heat it up enough, and when I pulled it with the suction cup, the adhesive was still holding pretty tight. In the end, I ordered this back glass, which arrived with some additional tools in the box, after I needed a replacement back glass. In this case, you must remove all the old adhesive that was holding the old one in place before you start. It took me two steps to accomplish this. Using a plastic flat edge, I scraped and rolled up the old adhesive first, especially around the outer edges and center points where there was extra adhesive. The next step was to remove the adhesive packet by using This could be fine) and use it to vigorously rub the remaining adhesive and dust and dirt that is on the inside of After I had done what my main task was (removing the battery), I placed the fingerprint sensor in place, took off the adhesive backing for the remainder of the back, and guided it into the appropriate spot with my finger. The only thing I did differently was to press it into place hard, but I then heated it back up to help the adhesive set, and once cooled, it's almost identical to the original, complete with Samsung print.
The glass in question is not glass. Plastic is 100% of what it is. If you are not selling a replacement item, just do not say that you are selling an exact replacement.
If you take your time and follow the instruction videos on You Tube, there is no doubt that you will be delighted with this purchase. As you break the screen free from the phone body, you will have to be patient and show some patience in doing so. You can use a hair dryer to dry your hair. As a result of the plastic tools included in the kit, you can keep your phone from scratching or denting while you separate the back. It matches the logos and color of the original item in great detail.
My old cover was already cracked, so I did not have to be too careful removing it except for keeping the fingerprint sensor in mind. It was so much easier to connect the sensor once I had removed it from the old cover than if I had attached it to the new cover first. I simply laid the new cover back over the sensor, and the adhesives did the work. The It's exactly as it was when it was.
I like it a lot. Although no instructions have been given.
Having owned my S9 for a couple years now, I can vouch for its quality in every way. During the last year or so, it developed a crack near one of the side buttons, so I bought this replacement back glass. Within 45 minutes, I was able to take out the old one and replace it with this one. After putting away the camera for 2 months, I found the glass cracked and now cannot take decent photos. It is nice, but I think the quality of the glass is inferior to.
You only need a heat gun and it comes with almost everything you need. Lens on my camera broke, and I was quoted almost 200 dollars to repair it! If I had that much money, I would buy another phone! Trying my luck, I watched a few YouTube videos, and voila! I then walked over to my phone and it appeared to be brand new in 20 minutes. Among the tools in the tool kit are the right ones for opening the case, releasing the ribbon from the fingerprint sensor, and replacing the parts. This kit is highly recommended for anyone who wants to do repairs on their phone and isn't planning on buying a new phone or paying a silly fee to do so.
This is a great product for the price. There are no instructions, and I would greatly appreciate if you included a YouTube link for the video. A break occurred on the back of my phone and I broke a piece of my camera glass. It took me about 45 minutes to install after watching the videos. If the adhesive on the back of the phone is still stuck, heat up the back of the phone with a hair dryer for quite some time. It is the finger print scanner that is currently on your phone, you have to return it to your phone and attach it before applying the case. It's a great trip! Thanks a lot!.
