Honestly, this kit is the best replacement kit I've ever received for any phone model or make. After removing the old glue with my heat gun and the nylon tweezers provided, I used my heat gun to remove the wax. Prior to the replacement, my glass was removed to prevent myself from slicing myself until the replacement was delivered. After cleaning the lenses with wet and dry cloths, I put them back into their cases. This is what I used - The opposite side of the cleaning cloth is tapered for pressure, so the cloth is easier to clean. Then, I verified that all the glass was taken out of the holes with the lenses and no glass was left in the holes. My Samsung Galaxy S10+ was damaged when the lens I took off of the glass was dropped on it. There is no doubt that it fits perfectly. Using my thumb and forefinger, I firmly pressed down on the lens cover to fully engage I then used my heat gun for a few seconds to heat the glue and make sure it Once the heat has been removed, press as soon as possible. The kit was incredibly easy to use and fit exactly into the hole on my G10+ that it is meant for.
I needed to get my camera glass on my S10+ covered up because it was scratched up and affecting my photos. This kit was perfect for me. I believe that the only thing that's missing is Qtips to ensure that the old camera lense is clean before applying the new glass, so have a few handy and a bottle of isopropyl alcohol to soak the Qtip in and you'll be fine. In any case, even if your glass is not broken, it will break when you remove it, so do not expect it to be intact when you remove it. The exact knife should be used to remove all of the old adhesive, and the alcohol pad should be used to clean the edges. Simple as pie and easy as squeezing a lemon.
When I used this kit to replace the broken glass on my camera, I was very impressed at how easy it was. It is my first time doing this, but after watching videos on how it is done, I decided to do it myself rather than paying someone a lot more money to do it. It's a decision I'm very glad I made. I only had to spend about 15 minutes, and the quality of the picture is just as good as it was before the glass broke. Everything you need is included in the kit. The tweezers are what I personally use. As soon as I had all the glass out and had cleaned the glue, I used compressed air to ensure no more glass or glass dust was inside, then I peeled the plastic off its glue side and stuck it in place and pressed That's all you need to do. If you can do it yourself, rather than pay a shop, it is highly recommended.
It did what it was supposed to do. The knife that came with it is pretty flimsy, but it helped me get rid of my old glass. This can be accomplished easily, and then you can install it. It appears to be fine and I don't have broken glass anymore. I can't speak too well to the picture quality since I never paid attention to it before. *Edit
A lens on one of my cameras has now developed multiple black spots that weren't During and after putting up the glass, I examined that area to see if I had missed anything. I guess this means that the seal is not quite solid enough and dust is getting The issue doesn't appear to be caused by how I installed it since there is really only one way to do it and it's fairly simple.
There was a pretty obvious explanation of how to use the program. There is room for improvement with the tweezers. Additionally, I wish they would have included more wipes so you could use more of them to clean the dish. The glass I was removing already had a large hole for me to work with, so I hardly had to use the knife in its exact form. If you are looking to replace your glass with this to get a trade in, I recommend that you do so. After removing the old glass, cleaning, and installing the new glass, I took around 30 minutes to do it. It may be waterproof, but I doubt it. If your camera lens was exposed for any significant period of time, I would not recommend this as it will most likely be scratched, and you will need to replace it to get a clear picture.
I have removed glass in the past and had a good experience doing so. All I had to do was watch a movie and slowly pick at the broken glass making sure I didn't I was very happy with the price for the tools and two sets of glass for my S10+. I tried using the wipes that were provided to clean the glass before installing, but it just left streaks, so I went to the second one instead, it might be that the wipes are meant to be used after you finish the installation, but once completed my camera worked beautifully and fit like OEM.
Originally, I was quoted $100 to replace my camera screen, but then after watching a video online I knew it would take me just 15 minutes to do. This kit came with everything I needed and even an extra screen, it went on seamlessly, and looks like it came right from the box.
It is not clear how it cracked in the first place, but the fact that I was able to fix it without difficulty at a good price is truly If you're going to do it yourself, make sure you look up a video tutorial, since you don't want to damage anything important. If you want to use a cheaper way to fix your digital camera, I'd definitely recommend this.
