I have extremely sensitive skin, and getting my brows done would cause me to break out (among other embarrassing symptoms). I never broke out after using this, and the redness was also reduced. Excellent item - Years have passed since I last used the same bottle.
This is an excellent product that helps to soothe my skin after waxing.
It doesn't have an oily feel to it. It's more of a cool, relaxing sensation. I start with the "wax off" to get rid of any excess wax, then finish with this soothing gel. It's fantastic!

When it comes to waxing prep and post-waxing, I love GiGi products. I had placed an order for the 4-pack of cigarettes. I received a sampler of GiGi products and was impressed with how well this one soothed irritated skin after a wax job. So I went ahead and bought the large bottle, but when it arrived, it had a large piece of clear tape wrapped around the top of it. Even though I tried to remove the tape very carefully, it managed to remove portions of the label. It's not a big deal, but as an Esthetician, I like to show my clients what I'm using and why I'm using it. Having this bottle on display makes me appear unprofessional and untidy, as well as giving GiGi a "bad look. " This product is still one of my favorites and one that I would recommend to anyone who is allergic to waxing. I just wish GiGi took a little more care in packaging and shipping their items.
Oh my goodness, that was one of the worst things I've ever gone through! I'm not sure why I thought it would be a good idea to rip the hairs from my legs! OUCH! And, to put it mildly, I believe swearing on here would be frowned upon. It may be better for some people, but my skin is far too delicate and sensitive for that, so let's get back on track. I kept this after I threw out all the waxing supplies and gave it a try after shaving! Works like a charm! Again, because I have sensitive skin, I am prone to razor burn, but not since I've been using this. It's the first thing I do when I get out of the shower, and I keep it on for a few days after shaving. Maintains a cool, fresh, and moisturizing environment!.
If you've ever bled after waxing, this will burn you to a crisp. Keep in mind that one of the most common ingredients is alcohol. When you apply it, it gives you a slight cooling or tingly sensation.
It's a hot mess, and no matter how careful you are, the wax will end up on the floor and all over the place, including your hands, so you'll end up spending more money on the additional products they sell. This is an extremely disorganized system.
This gel is a lifesaver for me because I wax my whole face. It soothed my irritated skin and aids in the prevention of breakouts, which I am prone to. I'm not sure I could wax with it right now.
My skin did not break out or become irritated as a result of using this product. I think this will last me a long time because the bottle is so large.
It's also great for after you've waxed!.
