Questions & Answers
You should only use it when waxing is imminent. It prevents your heating station's wax from dripping down the sides. I'd also put a rag or towel underneath to catch any drips, as wax is difficult to remove from the counter.
That's where the GiGi sureclean comes in handy. It's cheap. Make sure the machine is 100% cool before using it. A cotton ball or an old washcloth can be used. After all of the wax has been removed, I use sureclean and wipe the machine down thoroughly with water. I hope this has been of assistance.
However, if you don't use something, wax will collect below the pot and may cause damage to your unit.
I'm not sure, but these are the collars that go around the machine; you can contact the manufacturer or look for them online.
Selected User Reviews For GiGi Clean Collars for 14-Ounce Wax Warmers, 50 Pieces
On Gigi or other wax warmup ovens, this recipe works well. I'm not sure about other brands, but this one has never let me down. It prevents wax from dripping under the rim and into the oven's electrical circuits. It's crucial to use a collar to avoid getting wax on the inside of your oven, and it also keeps the outside cleaner than if you didn't use one. When I didn't use a collar and unscrewed my oven, I discovered a lot of wax on the inside. There will be no more wax buildup inside the oven after using this. 1. br>br> Compatible with all ovens of the same size.
2. Place the collar in the oven first, then the wax jar on top of it, so that the collar holds it in place snugly.
3. Taking away - Remove the jar (with tongs or by waiting for it to cool), then throw away the collar.
4. Keep it in place for future use; there's no need to use it just once. This is a good deal.
After reading the reviews, I decided on these because they are sturdy. However, they will not fit on my Salon Sundry wax heater. To add bulk wax, I use the included refillable pot. Regrettably, the pot is only a fraction of an inch larger in diameter than the commercially available cans. (I have to trim them slightly to fit around the pot I fill with Wax Necessities Film Hard Wax Beads - it's a pain. ) Natural is the most cost-effective option. Block wax is available in a variety of brands. I'm guessing that the inside diameter of all other brands of collars is the same.
The collar that came with my waxer was a little shabby and well-worn. These are identical to the ones that came with my machine, and they fit perfectly!.
This purchase has made me very happy. It's the perfect size for my Gigi Warmer. No tilting because it's thick enough. It does an excellent job of preventing wax drips on the actual warmer.
It will need to be cut on one side so that it will wrap around the perimeter of my wax tin. Although it lifts a little, it does a good job. Cleans up the waxing process.
These items, on the other hand, are a must. They prevent wax from dripping onto your machine if you make a mistake and provide a clean working area for your wax. br>Steps to get there: br>All you have to do is wrap your 14oz in the color. Place your wax container in your machine, and there you have it!.
