Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use the same Warmer for my wax beads as I did for my wax beads with Gigi's all-purpose honey wax?

I'm not sure, but if the wax beds are in a self-contained environment, I'm not sure what the answer is. I don't see why not, if the container is contained and fits in the warmer. The beads or wax cannot be poured into the warmer directly.

Is there a place where I can buy hard wax for this warmer?

It's a waste of time and money. Purchase is not recommended.

This warmer will not fit any wax

Please, please, please make sure you read the compatibility list. I'm furious because I bought this and the wax I bought for it didn't work with it. I was unable to locate a compatible wax, so you will receive a warmer but will be unable to use it. It came with the warmer, strips, and applicator, but no wax, and there isn't one that fits this warmer.

It's nothing more than a toy

Don't buy this machine; it's designed for children under the age of two to play with. I will give it back to you. It's a small space. Any wax can will not fit. Because the buyer did not show me inside the machine, I assumed it was salon size. Such a letdown. If you buy, you will return, just as I did.

I had originally purchased the Gigi Space Saving Warmer but returned it because it lacked temperature control and kept the wax extremely hot. This was left on low for the entire day and performed admirably. Hours later, the wax had reached the ideal temperature. And for those who say they don't like it because wax is hard to come by, consider this: You didn't have to look very hard to find what you were looking for.

It's difficult to come by 5 oz

cans. This is an excellent product that does exactly what it claims to do. There are two heat settings: high and low, and the heat setting can be adjusted in between. The most difficult part is finding a wax can that fits, and there are no empty wax cans for the beads, so you'll have to use the 5 oz cans. I had to purchase a 5 oz wax that didn't work, empty the can, and replace the wax beads. A 5 oz can is likely to be found at a craft store.

A few of my friends have expressed reservations about this one and have given negative feedback. Then I received it and fell in love with it. . . . I bought it for face waxing and added beans from Starpil wax and set it to medium. . . IT WORKS EXACTLY AS IT SHOULD.

This method is ineffective

This is ineffective! I bought it, turned it on, and it warmed up my wax for a few minutes before shutting down and never warming wax again. It only worked for 60 seconds after I received it today. It's a FRAUDULENT INVESTMENT!.
