Warm on the highest setting and wipe clean with paper towels. Pour some wax cleaner in there with some 4 by 4s after it has cooled down.
I can't think of a reason why not. I used it on the plastic parts of a wax pot and it worked perfectly. To begin, conduct a spot check.
My recommendation is no, because you risk damaging the floor. The product is excellent, in my opinion the best, but I would not risk it in wood.

This product is intended for use on professional cleaning equipment and implements. It's great, but never use it on your body. It has a stronger orange scent, but it isn't as bad as other cleaning products. I keep seeing reviews that say it's toxic and that if they knew, they wouldn't have bought it, so I'm guessing they thought it was for people to use after waxing. This product is great for cleaning wax pots and other hard-to-reach areas, such as the floor. When using, it's also a good idea to put on gloves.
It performs the task at hand. Depileve Easy Clean Citric Wax Cleaner for Warmers and Equipment is something I've been using for a long time. I'm a licensed Esthetician, and I'd get it from one of our professional stores, but it never smelled orange, more like a light chemical. I've always preferred this to goo gone because it effectively removes goo, hard wax, and gum. When my supply runs out, I'll place another order.
This product was used to clean my wax pots and floors as a licensed esthetician with 24 years of experience. This product should be used in combination with an esthetician wipe a little goes a long way and followed by 99% alcohol to cut the residue. I've found it to be the best.
This one is a few dollars more, but with Prime I don't have to pay for shipping and it arrives faster, and it does exactly what it says it will do: remove body wax from the floor or any other surface. I like it, and the citrus scent is pleasant.

Use caution when dealing with this material - Keep out of the reach of children and only use in moderation. It only takes a little to make a big difference. This was purchased to remove stubborn wax from surfaces and tools; it works well but is a powerful chemical. For efficiency, I give it a 5 out of 5 star rating. Toxicology gets a one-star rating.
