Although I prefer the white cake, I find that this soap is effective, lathers well, and does not irritate my skin. It does not contain any animal products and has not been subjected to animal testing. I hope you found this information useful.
Before using the bars, I melt them in a shaving cup. There were no negative outcomes. I haven't experimented with essential oils, but it seems logical to me.
There is no time limit, as far as I know. Because it's soap, it must have a long shelf life. Purchase. It's going to be enjoyable for you.
There's no scent to it at all.

I was given two small bars as part of a complimentary toiletry package. I was able to use them for over a month. It was one of the most enjoyable shaving experiences I've ever had. I've been using this brand for 15 years after discovering it in a local store. Because my local supplier was out of stock, I ordered this pack from Amazon. Leave the foams and gels at home. This is everything you'll need, and it'll go through airport security without a hitch in your carry-on bag.
" In comparison to some of Van Der Hagen's other shaving soaps (Deluxe, etc. ), I believe this is their most "balanced" offering. Why? It's light but still moisturizing, lathery but not too thick, and smells divine (like a light clean almond or something similar - It is a hit with my girlfriend. Put a puck in your shaving mug and lather up for an amazing creamy mug shaving experience (and if you don't have a mug, just a shaving brush, you can lather it up right in the round plastic container it comes in). It's a fantastic soap opera. I can't say enough about how much I like it! Thank you, Van Der Hagen, for continuing to produce such a wonderful shaving soap!.
For the past five years, I've been using Van Der Hagen Glycerin Shave Soap. It lathers well, and the glycerin gives the face a nice lubrication, resulting in a close shave. Plus, a puck lasts a long time, making it very cost effective per shave. I get at least three months (often three). 5 months' worth of shaves, so the average cost per shave is around $0. 05 - $0.
The glycerine-based soaps have a good coverage, can be worked into a functional lather even in a dry climate, and can be melted to fill your shaving bowl properly. VDH is the best, and that's all there is to it.
My favorite designer is Van Der Hagen! PS: Submarines are not permitted to use aerosol products.
The scent of the soap appeals to me. In the container where I keep soap, there's plenty of room. Each cake lasts about four months, so there's enough soap for several years. Does an excellent job of softening my wiskers.
This is something I've ordered a few times. It has a lot of appeal for my husband.
This is the second time I've bought this product.
