I place my shave mug into a larger bowl where I pour boiling water. My shaving mug's contents will stay hot in this manner. I start by dipping a clean brush into very hot water (near boiling), then into the lather-making solution. Make a nice hot lather in a mug with Williams soap. The hot water in the bowl keeps the mug hot, so the lather lasts a long time, and I can rinse the razor in the sink and then 'warm it up' by dipping it into the hot water. I prefer the feel of a hot razor and believe it provides a better shave; however, I've tried other shave soaps, some of which are quite expensive, and they make no difference. Why would you want to invest more? Williams is a fantastic soap with a great price point.
I use Williams Shaving Soap in an insulated mug with extremely hot water straight from a tea kettle. It lathers up nicely and has a pleasant but not overpowering scent. I've been using it for years and have never had any issues with it.
I recall seeing my father shave with William's Mug Soap when I was a kid. He'd turn on the hot water (the hotter, the better) and work that soap into a thick lather. The scent of the soap as it developed lather was my favorite part. When I first started shaving, I used William's Mug Soap on occasion, but I always went back to William's after trying the convenient cans. It's now solely my decision-making authority. If you give it a try, you'll be amazed at how fresh and clean your face feels!.
To be honest, I was skeptical of this shave soap at first, but after using it for a few weeks, I can see why some people adore it. It took a little getting used to at first, but my skin is looking better than ever after about two or three weeks. I adore the scent; it's so light and airy. The puck lasts a long time; after three weeks, I'm still using the same one. By this point, the other brand would have worn out. So I'm not sure how long it'll take me to get through all twelve, but if you're looking to save money, this is the way to go.
For years, I used Williams soap, but it was difficult to come by in my area. I'm so relieved that I was able to restock. When I open my cabinet, I get a whiff of my Burma-made perfume. The shave cup is absolutely fantastic! This reminds me of my father, who used to do this when I was growing up. I'm 60 years old, as well. When it came to shave quality, this beat the tar out of the more modern foams and creams. BUY IT, that's all you have to do. It will not be a mistake.
This is a fantastic deal. I've tried a lot of different shave soaps, and Williams Mug Soap is the most gentle on my skin. The tried-and-true method for creating a fantastic lather with Williams Mug Soap: Place the puck in a mug of your choice. Fill the mug halfway with boiling water and place your shaving brush inside. Allow the soaps to mix together. Allow ten minutes for the brush to soak. Empty the mug of water while shaking the brush until it's damp but not dripping. Fill the brush with water for about thirty seconds, then transfer to a lather bowl and work up a lather, adding half a teaspoon of water at a time if necessary. Three or four passes will suffice with this thick, creamy lather.
There are no fancy gels or high-tech polymers in Williams Mug Shaving Soap. Those only serve to keep the razor from getting close enough for a good shave in the first place. br>br>It also doesn't come in a wasteful plastic bottle with a squirt top that you have to recycle once you've used it. br>br>This is a simple bar of soap that lathers well, provides excellent lubrication and moisturization, and has an old-fashioned scent. time scent that is both masculine and clean without being macho. It also gives me the most accurate shave I've ever had. If you don't want one, you can skip the mug and brush. It simply does not get any better than this. br>br>.
This shaving soap has long been a favorite of my husband's. It has a good lather. It's better than shaving cream from a can, according to him. I was glad to find it here because it's been difficult to come by on store shelves. Purchasing in bulk is almost always less expensive than purchasing items individually, so that was an added benefit. br>It arrived when it was supposed to.
