I've never had any irritation or razor burns with this razor. My face was torn apart by these blades. Please be cautious.
Glide blades, which cost about $4 each, provided a slightly better shave but were not significantly more comfortable. I also discovered that the Gillette claim of being able to use the fancy blade for four months did not hold true in my experience. Yes, if you're okay with a dull blade, you can use it for a year. I went back to these older blades, which cost about $1, about five years ago. Each team has 14 players. The contours of my face and neck are better followed by these narrower blades. The blade pivots, and the Excel model with the lubricating strip is one of my favorites. I can shave for about a month with just one blade. Because these blades aren't made in the United States, there have been a few complaints. The blades are manufactured at the Gillette factory in the United Kingdom, according to my package. That suits me fine. These blades do not appear to be non-stick. Gillette is a knock-off. Some people claim that it's because of knock-offs. These blades are available in packs of ten for $16. On Walmart's website, they're 99 cents each, and some drugstores have them for around $24 for ten! You can get ten for around $11 on Amazon.
Since 1991, I've been using Gillette Sensor razors. I like these blades because they're close together, and when one lifts and cuts the whisker halfway, the second blade is close enough to finish the job. I never keep mine in the bathroom's humid environment, so I can easily get two weeks of every-day use out of them. From these, I've gotten a few days' worth of shaves. In other shavers, the three rows of blades are just a tad too long. kill. For the past 30 years, these have provided me with close shaves.
These should not be purchased. My boyfriend was forced to reinstall his old blade! It was almost as if the blades were on at an incorrect angle because it wouldn't shave close to the skin.
These are, in my opinion, the best blades ever made, and they're becoming increasingly difficult to come by. When it comes to razor blades, there are a few different types to choose from. More isn't always better, and number four isn't always the best. Cartridges with five blades are useless. This set of twin blades is extremely effective.
I still use a Gillette sensor Excel Razor, which is becoming increasingly difficult to come by in stores, and when you do, they are prohibitively expensive! These are imports from countries such as the United Kingdom. They're from Poland, but they work fine; I've been buying them like this for three years. This has been going on for four years.
The blades are dull, dull, dull, and will cause irritation and razor burn from the very first shave; this is not the Gillette quality you'd expect. These look like knockoffs to me. On these, you're not getting a good deal. You're being taken advantage of. in both a metaphorical and literal sense Remove yourself from the situation. br>Amazon's decision to allow the sale of counterfeit goods on their platform is disappointing.
So, what went wrong? These blades have been in my collection for a long time. I've been using these since I first began shaving (about 30 years ago) and have never switched. . . until recently. br>I've noticed that some are now manufactured in Brazil, while others are manufactured in the United States. I'm not sure where they used to be made, but I can't seem to get even ONE good shave out of them anymore. I tried a few different replacements, but they all feel like dragging a dull piece of metal across my face.
