The picture in the product item says you will be buying ONE unit, not two. The picture does indeed show the length of the item, but it is much shorter than what the picture would indicate (it tells you the length). My reaction was to check, I kept the unit after these caveats were stated The software works well and does what it is supposed to do. This is a recommended product Be aware of what you are doing.

I was recommended to buy a strop by a friend to gain that "extra edge" when sharpening My decision to take his advice has proved to be a good one. Having used it several times already, I have been pleased with the Although I did not expect the swivel to be attached to an actual bent nail, I was still surprised at it. I am amazed at what a reed strop does to a blade's sharpness for just $10. I believe this strop is a great bargain because it has quality leather, is long-lasting, and is made to last.

As you described, you cannot shave with this razor. I bought this razor based on your description, but they do not shave at all. It has been over 25 years since I last used a straight razor. In my possession I still have a shaver made in the 1960s. In the case of this one, absolutely nothing happens.

I expected it to be much longer

My expectation was much shorter than what actually occurred. The length of a strop that I remember from barbershop when I was a kid surprised me. It will suffice for the purpose for which it was purchased, but I am not overly thrilled with it.

It would be better if it were longer. I already use it, but I wish it were longer It was oiled with mink oil and then it was applied I am happy with the results.
