I don't like this mirror because the small lights make it nearly impossible to not become blinded while attempting to reapply makeup or whatever else you're doing. It's as if there isn't enough space between the lights and the mirror's center to see what you're looking at without being blinded.

Fantastic mirror in a small package! This compact mirror is an AMAZING DEAL, especially considering the price!! The lights are bright, and each side has a regular mirror as well as extra magnification, which is fantastic! The side with lights is the NON magnified mirror, and it has what I would call "cool" lights rather than the warm light from the Hollywood type lights in the compact (though I do love the Hollywood type lights, which aren't something everyone has in a lighted compact mirror)

Compact itself comes with two small switches on sides that move horizontally, underneath the battery compartment, to allow you to control the lights as you open the battery compartment and then flip the back over to the other battery compartment for battery swaps. It's easy to remove the switch with a fingernail. It's only an idea! Other than that I would 100% call this the best compact mirror I have ever had and it was def a bang for my buck!.

However, the lights - br>br> A tad too flamboyant! To soften the light, I covered the LEDs with frosted tape. Fortunately, they can be turned off via a switch on the back. br>br>While the size is ideal, if lighting is your top priority, you should look elsewhere.
