Unfortunately, the compact arrived scratched and pitted UNDER the protective film, with an off-center image. center. I bought this for my mother's 70th birthday, but she was unable to receive it. I'm not impressed at all, and I'm disappointed in the quality of the work. caution to the buyer- It's possible that something similar will happen to yours.

I purchased this at the last minute because I needed a unique gift for my mother for Christmas - Furthermore, the quality is shockingly poor. The inscription is difficult to read. There are horrible horizontal lines all over it, as well as numerous bubbles beneath the plastic inscription slapped on top. This was supposed to be a thoughtful present, but it appears to be complete garbage. It's a felony to charge $22 for this trash that's being passed off as something special for your mother.

I apologize for doing so. I had to return it, so I paid a little more for this one. It was well worth the money! This is one you should purchase. The quality is excellent, and it's a lovely compact that my mother adores. It was also packaged nicely in a small gift box. This is an ideal present.
