The mirror is exactly what the description says it will be, so I gave it 5 stars. These mirrors are really well-made and have a great finish. It would seem that the 10X measure is accurate. Reading glasses do not give me an adequate view of my face, and I really need them to be 10X. There is only one problem I have with it It is heavy and large and I don't want to have to take it out in public to check out what I look like. Although the description related to its size and weight, it is my responsibility to understand it properly. Honestly, I would love to have a tiny compact that I can carry around in my purse! The mirror will be useful during vacations so no money lost, but I'll be bringing it along as a makeup mirror.
It's not very often I wear makeup, but I do wear a little so my bag is not gigantic. My mirror broke and I had to have it replaced as soon as possible. A good size mirror is hard to find, but this one is perfect. It's larger than a normal compact but small enough to carry it wherever you go. My needs were met and I was able to travel easily! At this price point, I found the quality to be exceptionally good which was a bit surprising. Despite its lightweight nature, it is sturdy and well made. Weight is an important factor for me in a product. I don't feel cheap when I look at this mirror! Also, I really like the way it can stand on its own and be adjusted in more than one direction. This would be a great gift for moms, daughters, sisters, friends, and co-workers (though looking into the 10x mirror could be a surprise sometimes)

This design is so slim! I love it! I like the fact that it is lightweight and just the right size, neither too big nor A slim mirror that I can carry around in my purse or in my suitcase when I travel appealed to me. There is no need to have a light on this mirror, as I was not looking for one with one. Interested in a mirror without the bulky battery compartment included in lighted mirrors, I chose this slim model. This mirror has a 10X magnifying feature that makes it ideal for plucking eyebrows and applying makeup. In the instructions, I was instructed to bring the 10X side within 2 inches of my face, then to move it away from my face to clarify the There was no issue with it for me. My mirror arrived and I was not sure what I would get, but I'm very happy with it. Seeing your entire face is easy with the regular side, but it is especially useful with the 10x magnifying side which allows an easy way to zoom in on your face, eye, etc. A large mirror without a frame, this one closes with a satisfying click and is lightweight. This device is approximately 4 inches in diameter and a little over a quarter inch thick when closed. Travelers will find it easier to slide into their bags or suitcases with this.
My mirror turned out to be a lot larger than I thought, but still fits comfortably in my hand. I also like how light and compact it is. And the 10 times zoom comes in handy when I need to see a pimple or bump up close. It's great for taking my make up on planes, not to mention the 10 times zoom helps me get very sharp winged eyeliner and very strong lip lines.
This would be okay, except for the fact that the mirror is so small that there is only a small clear area left. It needs to be held 2 inches away from my face to allow me to see anything, so I do not recommend it.
The eyes in which I have spent most of my life betray me as I approach 50. I have an astigmatism that I was born with, making it more difficult to see fine details I gave one as a gift to someone who loved it so much she asked for one. It's a handy mirror for makeup, traveling, tweezing, etc.
With this item, I found what I was looking for in a compact. It was a bonus to have the magnification. I love the fact that the compact is sturdy and lightweight, and that I don't have to hold it while using it, so I don't have to worry about carrying. In terms of cons, I would only say that it's a bit large for my hands, so I have difficulty holding it in one hand, and the magnifying mirror is at the bottom rather than the top.
