It stains my counter if I don't clean up the drops right away, but I just use bleach wipes to take care of most of it. This made my hair platinum and I'm so happy about it. My hair always looks purple after using purple shampoos since they leave the purple hue for a few days before you get the color you want! My order came in Rose Gold and I am delighted with it The color pink. As a starting point my hair was lightened to a white colour. I used the light pink to achieve my desired color. It turned out vibrant. Following the first wash, it was a light bright pink, and it got darker as it was washed. In the end, I switched to Rose Gold after getting bored with the silver. The reason why I gave a 4 rather than a 5 star rating is because- I thought the color on the bottle looked dark, but I found it to be purple on my hair, not rose gold. Honestly, I am in awe of this stuff. My long copper hair really looks refreshed after using it. It deposits plenty of color and leaves my hair rich in color. Putting it on dry hair and letting it rest for 20 minutes or so has proved to be the best way for me to use it. It's a nice feature that you can build the color up and if it gets too much for me I can use regular conditioner for a wash and it fades the color just a tad. It is not a permanent color that you can use with harsh shampoos and expect to last. Know what you are buying and you will not As a moisturizer or conditioner, it's not my favorite. Therefore, I left it off one star. I use a leave in conditioner after I rinse and towel dry this shampoo instead of the usual one, it's a great, gentle alternative for color depositing. The product is great! I am eager to try other colors as soon as I am more adventurous.
