19". For at least 6 months, we used this along with a Target one. As babies' legs grow, they dangle from the bottom, but when he learned to sit, he sat on it instead. This is one of the most useful items you can buy for $7! We didn't even require a second tub. (The Target Munchkin version was thinner and less plush, and it ripped easily.) This was a great one.

I don't know who made it because the packaging is missing. 30 years ago, I had a similar one for my children. I bought this for my grandson to use at our house, and it's great! It's nice and soft, and I use it as an insert in our plastic bath.
To get it as dry as possible, I'd probably put it in the washing machine rather than the dishwasher. Because it's so thick, the steam from the dishwasher won't be enough to dry it out, even if that's the goal.

My baby didn't fit in the sling that came with his bath tub, but his bathtub is a little rough (his father doesn't agree, but I do), so I bought him this sponge. I was immediately enamored with it after the first use. He's always enjoyed bath time, but he appears to enjoy it even more now. He's getting his due while getting a bath, and I love that I can just lay him in the sling and wash his back and booty. Because he's just grabbing himself onto the sponge and looking around, that's his favorite moment: I don't leave him alone for long periods of time because I don't want to hurt his knees. I wish I had bought it sooner because he's now 11 weeks old. He used to move around a lot in the sling that came with the bath tub, and I was always afraid he'd fall off, but he just lays back on the sponge. It appears to be exactly as shown in the photograph: ) After his bath, I squeeze out the excess water and air dry it. So far, everything appears to be in order. No mold.
Infant tubs are, without a doubt, the most overrated infant care accessory. I can confidently say that after raising two children of my own and now welcoming my first grandchild, they're an unnecessary and inconvenient dust collector. By far the most practical solution is the bath sponge mat, which is still used today. It's been tried and tested. 👍👍.
We have a standing shower but no bath tub, so this is my absolute favorite baby product. At our shower, we were given a baby tub with a newborn sling and plenty of room to grow. It fits on the floor of our shower, but because there is only one door on one wall, leaning over to wash baby is difficult, and grabbing him if he slips would be difficult. The large tub is also too heavy to lift out of the shower to sit on the floor, we don't have a detachable shower head, and draining would be impossible if it weren't in the shower. br>br>Desperate to avoid dealing with this mess, I began washing baby in the sink on a towel, which left me with a sopping wet towel. br>br>I looked it up on the internet and came across this! PERFECT! These were completely unknown to me. And it's a STEAL! I purchased one right away, and bathing has never been easier. I've moved to a deeper kitchen sink as the baby has grown, but he's still content. This sponge is simple to clean and dry by wringing it out. It has a good cutout for baby's support and keeps him warm while he bathes! I'm really happy with it!.
Ideal for preventing little bottoms from slipping around in the sink or tub. It's ideal for on-the-go. the- When I was younger, I sat on a sponge, and later, I sat on a sponge br>br> I had one for my previous baby a few years ago and decided to get another for my new baby. When bath time is finished and the water has been drained, I simply wring it out from top to bottom and hang it to dry. br>br> I like that it's easy to clean and can be squished into a small space, that the baby can be mostly wet (on his back so he doesn't get cold), and that he's comfortable and likes to kick while lying in the tub on it. Before I put him on it, I submerge it in the water to allow it to absorb the warmth. br>br>For reference, the baby in the photo is less than two months old (approximately 22").
It's not worth the trouble. It's not a bad idea, but there are a few aspects of it that I don't care for.
1. It takes FOREVER for the paint to dry. It won't usually be dry before the next bath timebr>2. It is strictly adhered to! My baby should be completely clean in the bath, not laying on a filthy mat, I believe. We have a dog, and his hair is all over it, and no matter what I do, I can't get it off.
3. It's nothing more than a blob of foam. It shouldn't have been as expensive as it was.
I bought a baby tub, but until the baby can hold his head up and is a little less fragile and squirmy, this is really all I need. I bought two of these and placed them side by side in my regular bath tub (without the water, of course) after soaking the sponges in warm water. After that, I place the baby on the sponge and begin to wash him. For one thing, he can't slide off of it; two, because he's in a regular tub rather than a tub on a counter top, I feel I have more control and can move him from side to side to wash his back and back of his head; and it's easier to keep him warm by placing warm wet washcloths on him while I'm washing his hair or any other part; and finally, when he's nice and warm, he pees right into the air Even if he threw up, it would be easier to clean up on the spot than in a baby tub. The first two times I tried bathing him in an infant tub, it was awkward and definitely increased the chances of something going wrong. They are also so inexpensive that you can replace them whenever you feel the need arises.
We started out with just a washcloth for baby to lay on in our Primo EuroBath Tub. This was added to an Amazon order, and I think it's a great deal. It fits perfectly in the tub, and I believe it makes bath time more fun for our little one. When it gets too hot, I squeeze it under running water until the top cools down. I'll place it in the tub once it's soaked and fill it with the appropriate water temperature. When my husband was getting the bath ready, he put bubble bath on it, and it made washing her hair a chore because it would never come out clear, so be careful. I empty the tub and prop it against the shower wall when we're done, then wring out the sponge and let it dry on top of the tub. Mold hasn't been a problem for us!.
