A LOT! It removes all of the shampoo and conditioner from the hair much faster. It takes about two rinses to get all of the product out of very fine, thin hair.
Hard plastic makes up the cup's main, rounded section (blue in the photo). When you pour the water, the flat front part of the cup (yellow in the photo) flexes to shape to your child's forehead. We love ours; the granddaughter used to hate having her head rinsed until we got this cup, but now she doesn't mind.
U - China is where these are made. Thank you very much.

This is not a good product for children under the age of two. br>Certainly not for children under the age of one. br>This product requires the baby to look up for it to work properly. br>I tried to use it with my 7-month-old and ended up drenching her face in water.
My son suffers from sensory issues and despises having his hair washed. I gave them a bath after I bought this cup, and BOOM! No tears were shed during the washing of the hair. It went off without a hitch. I'm really looking forward to having it, but I will say that your child must be able to look up for it to work properly. As I pour, I have them look forward before placing the rubber part on their forehead and having them look up. This is fantastic!.
My daughter no longer gets water in her eyes and is no longer afraid to wash her hair, which I wish I had had this from the beginning. We'd tried every towel/head tilt technique we could think of, but nothing compared to this.
The concept is fantastic; I've had others similar to this for years and they make rinsing a breeze. This one, on the other hand, is a disaster. It had scuff marks on it and was covered in a yellow substance. I used a paper towel to wipe it off, and the towel turned yellow. In addition, we are unable to remove the sticker. A hair dryer, alcohol, even goo gone, and a dish scrubber were all tried. The sticker's paper has finally come off, but the cup remains sticky and smells awful. I'm not going to use it on my kid. I would suggest a product similar to this one, but not this one specifically.
I purchased this exact item for my youngest sister several years ago. When a drop of water splashed her face, she screamed bloody murder. br>br>I bought this in the hopes of encouraging her to wash her filthy hair by making the water hit it. It did indeed work! br>br>Now, 6 years later, with my first child, I was thrilled to re-discover this product, which continues to work flawlessly. I'll keep using them to make bath time enjoyable for my kids.
I like it, but I'm not sure why there are two compartments; it makes cleaning a little more difficult because getting your hand in there is difficult. Otherwise, it will not work unless you press it firmly against your child's head. If you don't press it all the way down, it will either seep through or pour out the sides rather than straight back, causing it to fall in their face. Aside from that, it's an excellent product for keeping water out of a baby's face.
After a super unfortunate event involving my one-year-old and an ungoldy amount of poo, the previous cup we had (different brand) found its permanent home in the trash can. Anyway, we got this one as a replacement, and I really like it. The split design allows more water to reach the back of his hair, while only a small amount can reach the front, reducing the amount of water that will eventually run down his face. All of this results in fewer fights with him and a more enjoyable bath time! I would recommend this product over others that are more "expensive. ".
I have a feeling the products I received have been sitting in the warehouse for a while because the rubber portion of the package is tearing away from the plastic. I liked the size, but the material seemed to have degraded (as if it had been left in the hot sun for too long).
