No mold after 7 months, but my 18-month-old has figured out how to get rid of it. It now joins his other toys in the pool.
It has an adjustable strap on the bottom that lets some air out. My daughter was also concerned, and it worked for her. We have a modern square one that works great, and it's definitely worth a shot.
It's made of a rubbery material that's soft and flexible.
It makes getting to the shower knob a little more difficult. It all depends on how determined they are to solve the problem.

My child had slipped while bathing, and I would have hated it if the spout had hit him in the face. This was a perfect match. I'll update my review once I've used it more frequently. br>br>EDIT 2: (7. 19) This is most likely a once-in-a-lifetime purchase. Over time, it will not fade or deterioratebr>br>EDIT: The spout has kept its integrity and looks brand new after a few months of use. I would strongly suggest it.
In less than two minutes, my son had ripped it off. Don't squander your hard-earned cash. He only chewed on it for about a month, so it was probably worthwhile.
I was concerned that it wouldn't fit because we have a newer, non-traditional home. Spout with a standard shape. But don't be concerned! It appears to fit a variety of spouts, and it worked perfectly for mine! I recently had my 9-month-old granddaughter stay with me for a few days, and she is all over the bath tub - I was a little nervous. I'll feel a lot better next time she's in the tub if the spout is covered. The egg/chick toy that comes as a bonus is very cute. That's something I'm sure she'll enjoy. The little chick will appear if you hold it under water for a few seconds. When you take it out of the water, it emits a lovely, gentle shower of water. Because she has a small bath toy at her house that you fill (it's more of a bottle type shape - I know she enjoys watching and touching the water that flows like this), I know she enjoys watching and touching the water that flows like this. not as cute as this) and then letting it rain down on her. I'm looking forward to seeing her again so I can show her these.
I'm blown away by this tiny whale! It's very thick, so I'm confident that if my baby bumps into it, he won't feel anything. Even though the water handle in our shower goes past the whale's tail, it doesn't get in the way of the water flow or the on/off handle. The only minor drawback is that pulling the thing to get water to come out of the shower is a little difficult, but this is a minor inconvenience.
It's pointless. This was purchased to prevent our toddler from hitting his head while bathing. It worked well the first time I tried it. We take it away when he isn't in the tub. I gently tightened the strap as usual the third time I put it over the spout, but the whale's fin snapped off. It's now a battle to get it tight enough around the spout. It was a waste of money time.
While taking a bath, I need to keep an eye on my child. It certainly accomplishes what it sets out to do, and it does so admirably. Since the first time I put it on, I haven't had to touch it. I love the Egg Toy because I can fill it up with water and then watch it rain down on my daughter. It's a fun way for her to soak her hair and get rid of the bubbles. Thank you for providing these two items together; it's like a gentle taste of what a shower would feel like. It provides a compelling reason for anyone to purchase.
This was taken off the first try by my 11-month-old son. Although it appears to be nicer than some others, it failed to meet our expectations.
This was purchased to better protect my ten-month-old son. old's head in the bath tub because she's been trying to stand up everywhere lately. It's cute and simple to put up, but it won't stay in place. Even after tightening the strap as much as possible, a small grab (by my infant) is all it takes for it to slip right off. br>br>However, it provides enough protection for her head that she will be fine if she accidentally bumps it. As a result, I gave it three out of five stars. If you're looking for a well-kept secret, this is the place to go. This is NOT the product I was hoping for in terms of fit and snugness.
