I don't know where I can get a replacement for the two extra adhesive that came with our toilet locker.
A second adhesive patch was included with the item.
It's actually quite simple, but you'll need two hands to complete it. Turn the handle after pressing the button. I hope this has been of assistance.
Hello, br>br>soften the adhesive by blasting it with a heat gun or hair dryer for 5 minutes before attempting to remove it. Carefully remove the base with a butter knife. This did not work at all in terms of securing the lid. With a little more force, the lid can be opened. When the toilet lid is opened, the device is pushed into the back of the toilet and then simply slides down. I put them on three different kinds of toilet lids, one for each of our bathrooms. None of them were able to use it. In addition, the design is so simple to use that my toddlers figured it out in less than 30 seconds. They've reached the stage in life where pushing buttons is a lot of fun. They simply undid the latch by pressing the button while holding the lever. In summary, they don't work when they're locked in place, and they're easy for the small hands they're supposed to keep out to unlatch. Yes, it was simple to set up and use, and it has excellent adhesion. However, it falls short of the mark.
This product will not close and lock, preventing my 18-month-old from going to the bathroom. For both of the items, the spring was not working properly and did not fully close. I finally settled on the Safety 1st brand, which has proven to be extremely reliable. The only reason I'm even bringing up safety first is because as a parent, I don't want any of my children to die from falling into a toilet. For those who are unsure, I recommend purchasing this brand as well as Safety 1st and putting it to the test.
Our toddler developed a strong interest in the toilet, almost as strong as his interest in the trashcan. These locks were ordered to prevent the inevitable dumping of anything and everything into the toilet. For toilets, these are easy to use and almost universal. The installation was simple, and extra 3M sticky tabs and a hook were included in case the toilet tank was slanted. These work perfectly on both a flat lid toilet with a curved tank and a curved lid toilet with a flat tank. If you're in a hurry, the mechanism isn't too difficult to use, but it will confuse a younger child for a long time. These locks appeal to me more because they are set back far enough from the toilet bowl's edge and require only one point of attachment. It's just not for me to fiddle with the strap to take the lock to the lid and under the bowl, as other locks do. This is simple to use, but it can be overcome with a little effort (something a highly motivated one-year-old could do). br>br>I put my adhesive on the seat and tried it out, but it didn't work out. I wish I had placed it closer to the toilet; instead of just touching it, it should have been jammed up against it. br>br>I tried to remove it, but it was stuck on so tightly that I was unable to do so. So, at the very least, it's powerful.
I bought the two-pack to keep my one-year-old away from a couple of toilets she's interested in. Installing and using the locks is a breeze. Simply remove the adhesive backing, place the bar on the toilet seat with the bar barely touching the toilet, and press down. Touch the button and swing away until the bar locks; then open the toilet seat, do your business, close the seat, press the button, and the bar swings back to its original position. It doesn't get any more straightforward than that.
In comparison to other baby-proof toilet locks, I really like the design of these. that are currently available for proofing The product itself was sturdy, and the design was fantastic, but when I went to try it on and figure out where it would go, it didn't quite fit. When I placed the device on the toilet lid and applied pressure to simply hold it in place, the toilet lit up when I attempted to open it gently. My toilet lids, on the other hand, aren't completely flat; there's almost a divot in the middle for a design. I had to return them due to the fact that they did not work for me. However, I believe the product was well-made and durable, and I would have kept them if they had fit.
This item does not meet the requirements. There isn't much to say about this except that it does exactly what it says on the tin and does it well. Granted, I can't say whether removing it from the toilet seat is simple. With the adhesive being as strong as it is, I'm guessing. No, but just to be safe, make sure you're installing on a less expensive plastic toilet seat. In any case, it's a simple product that keeps my son away from the bathroom.
Our one-year-old is currently obsessed with putting things into bigger containers. He is constantly tossing his toys into laundry hampers, trash cans, boxes, and other places, which has thankfully stopped him from playing in the toilet! He continues to try to open the lid, but he is unable to do so! br>br>A catch for using the lock on toilets with slanting tanks was also included in the package. I had anticipated that we would require it, but we did not.
