Questions & Answers
It doesn't actually sing songs; instead, it plays lullabies (just the toon) and then crickets, rushing water (soothing sounds, etc.) if you press the star again. My two boys (2 and 4) both enjoy it.
Blue and pink are two complementary colors.
This performs a series of pre-recorded audio clips. Songs that have been pre-programmed It's not like the scout or violet dog, which allow you to customize the game. This isn't a repeat performance. capable of being programmed However, it is a fantastic doll. It appeals to my 2-year-old daughter more than her leapfrog violet puppy.
Sadly, no; all of the phrases appear to be written in English.

She was pleased with herself for paying such a small amount - Audio equipment for dogs is usually quite expensive. We didn't give it much thought at the time, but when we brought our puppy home, we ordered a bear from Amazon to make her feel more at ease. We put her in a playpen in the laundry room with the bear and a few other toys when she was first born. We quickly became aware that there was a lot of music being played. We assumed she had accidentally stepped on it. We soon realized she was doing it on purpose. To get it going, she would poke it with her nose. By poking the screen repeatedly, you can change the set of songs. That's exactly what she was doing. I'm not sure when she picked up the skill. It's possible that it began before she joined us at home. br>br>The following section is difficult to believe, and I'll understand if you don't, but bear with me. She is almost two years old now. She doesn't spend the night in the laundry room any longer. At the foot of our bed, she has her own bed on the floor. The bear prefers to stay in or near her bed. She turns it on every night and selects the lullabies channel! She occasionally turns it on during the day, and when she does, she selects music appropriate for the time of day. Do dogs and people have similar musical tastes? That appears to be the case. br>br>During teething, she had a chewing phase, but she never chewed on the bear. She chewed up all kinds of regular noise-making toys, so I'm not sure why. Whenever this dog needs something from us, such as food, water, to go outside to potty, to "come play with me," and so on, she pokes us with her nose like a bear. It's inconvenient at times, but that's life. I'm sure she learned from the bear that a good, firm nose-hold is essential for survival. There'd be a reaction if you poked someone. br>br>She doesn't look to us for approval when she turns on the bear. She pokes it now and then just for fun. It's a natural part of her life for her; she can't remember a time when she didn't have it. Of course, the bear joins her when we leave town and she goes to a kennel. I'm about to go out and purchase some replacement parts. This can't possibly go on indefinitely.
br>br>We gave it to our daughter as part of her 6-year-old's birthday present. She fell in love with it after only a month of sleep training. A child can easily activate the music by pressing a star on the bear's tummy. The music lasts about ten minutes, and the star glows slowly, almost hypnotically. An owl hoot, a bird chirping, and a bubbling brook are also included. br>br>Every night, our daughter takes it to bed with her. She turns on "Soothie" on her own, and the music, combined with the glowing star, helps her to concentrate and relax. She never, ever goes to bed without Soothie. It was crucial in assisting her in settling down in her own room to sleep. She still goes to bed every night with her singing teddy bear, which is one of her favorite bedtime toys at the age of nearly two. This toy has a long battery life - br>br> We've replaced the batteries three times in the last 20 months. That concludes our discussion. And the word "soothie" is frequently used. br>br>One last point to consider: The music isn't for kids, and it's not cheesy either. The toy plays traditional old songs' melodies (Go Tell Aunt Rhodie, Debussy's "Moonlight," Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata," and so on). As a parent, I value a toy that introduces my child to music with a rich history that can be enjoyed by people all over the world.
It was the only thing we allowed near him or put in his bassinet. He's a big fan of 'Blue' and has been for a long time. We've had to wash him a number of times. The Velcro has worn out over time (trust me, Kiddo has helped), so; Kiddo doesn't seem to mind that Blue's music box is dangling from his backside. Alternatively, it obliterates it. He looks after him because he loves him so much. After much deliberation, I decided to purchase a new one for him. However, there are only two Blue Bears left now! Blue has a friend, and Kiddo adores it. We've noticed that he's the only one on 'BB' who calls the Old. br>I CAN'T EVEN EXPRESS HOW GOOD OF FRIENDSHIP HE HAS WITH THIS STINKING BEAR! However, it is unquestionably valuable. br>br>br>br>****Update****
Still a must-have! My son, now 11 months, considers this to be his best friend! I also failed to mention how simple it is to clean! This garment can be washed in the washing machine! For a game that lasts ten minutes, the battery life is adequate. Every two years or so, we've probably gone through two batteries. The number three represents the month. That's barely enough for a year's supply of AAs! It's a must-have for the nursery! It's so fun to hear him turn it on first thing in the morning, and he's also the last friend he throws out the crib: )br>*********Original Review*********This is a must-have, as it plays music for about ten minutes and can also be used as a cuddle bug. We've been using it since he was born, and he can now push the button on his own at the age of six months. The best part? It can be washed in the washing machine!.
This is something that my daughter adores! We've been buying those leapfrog Violet and Scout dogs for our kids since they started singing at night, but this thing not only has more songs and variations, but it also has an insane battery life! The battery pack can be removed and washed if your child spills something on it, and I'm impressed with how long it lasts. No joke, my husband just put it through the washer and dryer by accident today, and it STILL WORKS. It's nothing short of miraculous! My daughter can't sleep without it, so we ordered another one just in case, but it's become her favorite nighttime comfort.
My granddaughter was given one of these as a baby shower gift, and now that she is a year old, it is a part of her nighttime routine and must be kept in her crib. The bear sings a variety of soothing songs and makes nighttime sounds like crickets. It's made of a soft fabric. It's been washed a few times and is still in excellent condition. Only once did the batteries need to be replaced. When my granddaughter presses the star on the bear's tummy, it illuminates, the bear says "I love you," and a pleasant melody begins to play. I ordered a second one just in case the bear goes out of production in the future.
