This is the kind of book my daughter loves. The first time I got this was when she was six As of now, she wakes up in the middle of the night staring at this object when she is eight months old. When I turn it on for her, the sound of the ocean waves keeps her occupied and she falls asleep again. Although it is loud, it is comforting to an infant since the hum it produces is soothing. It helps when we have to look for her binky at night or simply to pick her up at night when it is dark. My daughter does not find falling asleep at night difficult despite the full light feature being bright in a dark room. If you keep the motion going at all times, the battery will last longer. However, I haven't had any dead batteries yet after using it for a few months. It is on my list of things to buy soon, including a rechargeable battery. Most of the time it is used to listen to the ocean while we are asleep, without lights or motion. Updated on February 10, 2020 Now that my daughter is almost 10 months old, I have a lot on my plate. Every time she wakes up in the middle of the night, she will stand up in her crib and push the button to turn it on, then off, then back Her being able to do this helps her get back to sleep without making us wake I have updated On 5/14/202020, my daughter was almost 14 months old and she still uses this to calm herself down before bed. One of the best purchases I have ever made. Batteries that can be recharged are essential.
It was a gift with our baby when he was a few months old. In terms of how he responded to it, he started responding when he was 3 A toddler of 4 months. Likewise, many other reviewers share the same likes and dislikes as me. The pros are Please note I find it very soothing and hypnotic, just like an aquarium Turning up the volume is a good idea- The option to choose sea sound or music sound is available - Easily attaches to crib and provides protection for baby
Cons - Batteries are consumed in large quantities. I no longer have this problem since I started using rechargeable batteries (I think they are Philips). I am unable to control brightness. A difficult task to change the Most toys have screws that keep their battery covers intact in order to keep children safe. batteries need to be changed every four months (for example, If used for every nap and every day, it would take five days Before bedtime), there should be an option that allows quicker access. There is only one con that's worse than all the rest Please note I'm not sure who thought this was a good idea, but in addition to the low battery light (which is helpful), there's also a low battery chime (which is not helpful). In other words, when the batteries are low, this chime will ring every 5 seconds while it's Turning it on to calm your baby only to have it start chiming about five seconds while the baby is trying to fall asleep. It is absolutely counterproductive! Before the baby gets up, I have to sneak into the nursery to turn it off in time. In general, it is a good product but requires some work to resolve the major defects.
I like the easy-to-use interface. One thing I like is that you can switch between music, white noise ("ocean sounds"), and light The lights and sounds can be combined, or you can have just lights and sounds. I am very happy about it! This is a very user-friendly site A friendly person. I have so far not experienced any noise from the motor on my device, and my son seems to enjoy it as well. The moment I put on the sleep mask, he falls asleep quickly. As yet, I haven't had to use the remote, but it appears to be easy to use. This remote is not super convenient because you have to use it close to that machine, but at least you don't have to walk across the room to turn it on (but make sure you leave it on so you can use it). On top of that, it was super easy to install. In addition, it came with batteries (you would, however, need to supply batteries for the remote-- A pair of AAA!)! The summary is It is great for my little bundle of joy and I highly recommend it! You should definitely check it out!.
My batteries were just about to run out when I stopped replacing them. Here are the four I have for you. The 5 year old is coming up. This activity has been enjoyed by her since she was 2 months old. When she goes to college, she could continue to use it if I replaced the batteries. Her parents taught her how to turn it on and off when she was 3 or 4 months old. A baby monitor in the middle of the night made us uncomfortable. It isn't just me who has dealt with that problem! There is fantastic music playing on this device. It would be kind of cool if there were an adult version with minor tweaks, like Jason Momoa as Aquaman swimming between the octopus and crab. I think my daughter would enjoy that version as well (How incredibly cool he is! Battery C is costly, and it consumes a lot of energy. If you purchase this, you will get stock in Duracell. A Costco membership card is a must. You don't want to be without batteries just before bedtime if you are using the card. Also, the batteries have to be replaced quite frequently. There should be a tiny screwdriver in your toolbox. You must be a new parent if you do not already have one. After four weeks, the button is showing signs of wear. I have been working for five If the volume control worked in a gradual way instead of a level I to level II switch, I would prefer that. It could be even quieter if you wanted it. The music box had a great level of visual and auditory stimulation with some relief from OVERstimulation. She fell asleep no problem. I certainly would as well! No matter if the baby shower gift is on the registry or not, this is a great baby shower gift. Those of us who are new moms may not know how much this is needed.
I attached it to her crib and she's interested again, but now she thinks it's a game to keep getting up and pushing the buttons and running around. It's loud enough to be heard on the "low" setting and it's as bright as it is on the "high" setting. She can't self soothe during the night, whereupon she wakes up fully upon waking up. I'm afraid to put it on when she wakes up in the middle of the night. It's fickle when it comes to the remote. The only thing that matters to my baby is that it is a separate toy. When it comes to actually affecting the unit, it can be a hit or miss. As well as pulling it off the crib violently, she also tries to throw it. But, despite that, she still hasn't achieved her goal. It is a total failure in calming the mind at night. This stupid thing is making me mad, and I wish I could return it.
