It's the real deal, right down to the pillow. However, I would recommend purchasing at least one additional cover; when I did, it was a different brand, and it worked perfectly with this pillow!

This pillow has come in handy while I've been nursing my fourth child. It's soft and easy to keep clean. The only thing I don't like about it is that it isn't quite as high as I'd like it to be (especially when I'm sitting on my lap with a baby in my arm and needing full support)- This is especially true for someone of a tall stature. My torso and arms are both long and I am tall. I need the pillow for a number of reasons, one of which is that I have a shoulder injury and need the support while nursing my son. I have him cradled in my arm, but I rest my arm on the pillow, so I add another flat-backed pillow to make it higher. ish pillow on the bottom. I need more than this pillow to ensure my arm is supported and my shoulder muscles are fully relaxed, but if it were a little higher, it would be ideal for someone tall and/or in desperate need of arm support. Medical assistance is something that I strongly believe in. It comes in a very nice zipper bag, which I really like. Ideal for trips to Grandma's house or visits to the beach- When not in use, it is also kept clean and tidy. For a nursing mother, I recommend this pillow.
This isn't as well-known as the schmoppy-rhyming name brands we're all familiar with. I wouldn't recommend it if you're over six feet tall. It doesn't completely wrap around my body like the other one, but if you're petite, I'd recommend it.
Then, after a month of trying to get him to latch in the middle of the night when we were both exhausted, I ordered this, and I have to say, it was a complete game changer! It takes the weight of his head off my shoulders, reminds me to get into a good position, and makes breastfeeding so much easier for both of us. If you plan on breastfeeding, I would strongly advise you to purchase one.
However, because of the squared design, it fit well around me. My only criticism is that the whole thing could have been a little thicker and longer, and it wasn't quite as soft as I had hoped.
The fabric split in half after only a month of use. br>However, it was a good size and provided adequate support.
It's perfect for my new baby, who is due this month, and it came in a zippered hard plastic bag cover. There were no problems with the seams or stuffing. If properly cared for, it appears to have a long lifespan. Recommended by a mother of four children!.
I just wish it was a little bit bigger to accommodate a new mom. It's also not as "puffy" as other brands; it's more like a cute smaller version. But, aside from that, it is soft and does the job.
For a few weeks, this served as an excellent nursing pillow, and my infant also enjoyed it as a small lounge pillow. However, because the cover was not removable, I washed the entire pillow in the washing machine—it was a nursing pillow, after all, and it got dirty a lot. Unfortunately, it only lasted a few washes, and the cover completely split apart in the washer the last time I washed it. Thankfully, they are allowing me to return it and will issue a refund, but I am not confident that another one will last as long, so I will be shopping elsewhere.
