It is very simple to install the stud itself All you have to do is hammer out the old one, then push in a new one, then tighten it down with a lug nut (it helps to have a few washers on hand so that you can tighten the nut down firmly). In order to gain access to the hub, you must remove the brake rotors. It is possible to walk through this process using YouTube videos. In this situation, you do not need to remove any of the caliper bracket bolts. By removing the bolts from the caliper bracket, you can remove both of the caliper bracket and caliper at the same time.
I installed them on my 2015 pretense Tacoma with no problem. I suggest searching for wheel replacement studs on YouTube for guidance. You will need to take out the rear drums in order to install the stud, but other than that it's a simple 10 minute process.
This is a great OEM part that I was able to install easily. Now I have peace of mind that I have six studs and six lug nuts.
