A lugnut is what they are called. It's pretty sad, but they're in a terrible state. We're not sure why new nuts would have rust on them and be chipped and scratched like this. The couple seems to have been on the road for a while.

In order to use it on Harbor Freight single bolt 3" casters, I purchased this item. The thread pattern and nuts to use for them can be challenging but someone reviewed the issue and lended advice. No one would have guessed that lug nuts used a bolt thread pattern and size different than a standard bolt. The price is reasonable and the quality is great, I highly.
