Selected User Reviews For AIR CLEANER STUD ADAPTER, ADAPTS 1/4 IN. WINGNUT TO 5/16 IN. CARBURETOR
In my attempt to install a Holley 3310 carburetor, I stripped the threads where the air cleaner stud goes. Until I bought a new Holley Street HP that needed a 5/16-inch bolt, I had no idea this part existed It would be easier for me if there were an adapter available for a 1/4-inch stud The number of studs is 20. A helicopter seemed like the right thing to do to me Let's buy some coils for $20 and see how they turn out. Take a look at some of those reviews. A minimum of half of the units fail during In addition to the drill and tap kit I purchased for $8, I also bought this stud adapter. It is possible to buy an adapter with a threaded stud from Mr. Gasket, but the threaded end is too long, therefore poking up above the stud.
