The air regulator's middle port is where the red hose is connected. The other end is connected to the air pressure gauge on the front of the machine; the left side port receives air from your compressor, while the right side port feeds air to the torch. I hope this has been of assistance.
It comes with a 220 plug, but you can buy an adapter to use it with 110 or have it wired for 110.

I had some questions because I had never used a plasma cutter before, so I emailed Primeweld, who responded within an hour. He responded to my questions and mailed me a tool (at his expense, including shipping) that he hoped would improve my welding experience with 110 volts. It now runs fairly well on 110, but physics is a fickle mistress, and a 20amp 110-volt circuit can only carry so much current. The circuit is 120 volts. If you need to cut steel thicker than 1/8" on a regular basis, 220 will give you better results. That's true of any machine; blowing through thick steel simply requires a lot of current. This came from a 60" square of 1/8" steel that was given to me, and it's a nightmare to cut with a torch. Even though it was a little slow, the Primeweld 50 cut it cleanly, even on 120v. Consider how frequently you'll need to cut steel that thick. If you do, make sure to install a 220v 30amp outlet. If not, 120v will suffice. The photo shows a 1/2" cold roll that took about 5 seconds to cut through. With my torch, that would have taken a long time and resulted in a lot of acetylen being consumed. I believe many of these machines have similar guts, and what distinguishes them is the quality of the accessories and support, both of which I was impressed with. You won't have to scrounge for hose or fasteners because there will be plenty on hand. And if you have any questions, I'm confident the Primeweld staff will do everything possible to answer them. br>Doug br>Aylett, Virginia.
I'll admit that for $299, I wasn't expecting much, but I had a bunch of 4 inch standard pipe that I needed to cut up and dispose of. I hoped it would at least cut through the quarter-inch wall of the pipe. Now that I've been a metal fabricator for 37 years, I've been using hand-held plasma cutters since the 1980s, when they first became popular. This little machine blew me away; it cuts just as well as our $2700 Hypertherm machine at the shop where I work. I've included two photos of a HALF INCH plate that I cut with this machine; keep in mind that I've been doing this for a long time and have a lot of experience with it. Slow down, find a comfortable position, and allow the machine to do the work. You're going too fast if you're getting sparks around the tip; I cut this plate at 50 amps and 80 psi air pressure. I'm the proud owner of a small campbel-type campbel-type campbel-type camp I used a hausfield compressor with a 13 gallon tank and it worked perfectly; I connected it to a 50 amp breaker that I had for my welding machine and it worked perfectly. I also purchased replacement consumables to replace the ones that came with the machine because they appeared to be a bit more durable. I can't speak to the machine's durability, but it comes with a three-year warranty and other reviewers claim to have had positive customer service experiences. If I had to describe this machine in one word, it would be "Awesome. ".
I had to install the 220V power plug that matched my equipment, as well as a male quick disconnect air coupler--both of which were simple to do. LUCKY FOR ME, I had both of them in my shop; otherwise, I would have had to travel from New River to Phoenix to use the plasma cutter. br>br>I taped the fittings with teflon tape and had no problems with air leakage. One major disappointment is that I discovered this is a "scratch start" machine, which means you have to touch the torch gun to the metal to create the arc, which means I'll be replacing consumables more frequently. br>br>It sliced through 3/8" like a hot knife through butter, 1/2" was a little tougher, and despite being sloppy-looking, it cut through it like butter. A 1" gokart axle was cut in half by me. That makes me happy because I believe this plasma cutter will come in handy in a few scenarios. If I had to buy another cutter, I'd look for one that wasn't made of plastic. This machine, on the other hand, I believe is reasonably priced- What you pay for is exactly what you get.
Prime Weld has updated the unit I received, which is not mentioned or demonstrated on Amazon or in other YouTube videos I've seen. Anyway, here's what's new: Check out the video I made! br>The most recent changes are as follows: It came with a newer style torch AG60 with trigger guard, as well as a pre-installed 220V 50A power cord. Installed with a 220v to 120v adapter for a 110 volt outlet! The air filter/regulator had been pre-installed. put in place As shown in other photos, the machine came with an extra air line, but it is no longer required with the newer machine. Why did they include it, I'm not sure. br>For more information, please see my Amazon video below! Enjoy! Don't be hesitant to purchase this unit; it performs just as well as a more expensive hypertherm that I used at my previous job. I am extremely pleased with my purchase! I have absolutely no regrets! This is a fantastic cut! AAAA.
I'm blown away by how well this works and how neatly it cuts for the price. My life has just gotten a whole lot easier. It's simple to set up, and it's a breeze to use. In comparison to a cutting torch, less heat means less warping and slag/clean up. Because I had to remove the cover and reconnect the air hose leading to the pressure gauge due to a leak, I gave it a lower rating.
Love it! They simplified the plumbing in the back, removing an exterior hose and replacing it with a nice brass quick connect; it comes set up and ready to use, much better than the pictures show. Because the power cord is so short, I created an extension that converts it to NEMA 14-compliant power. I needed 50 plugs. Despite the cable's thinness, I was surprised by the high quality of the ground clamp. The instruction manual is useless, but it cuts quickly and smoothly, with a lot of power and good cut quality. For the money, I can't think of anything better. Torch is well-made, and the trigger has a pleasant feel to it - not the low-cost zip-lock bag Other units were tethered to the torch. For an imported unit, the overall quality feels good - Although it is not a $1500 made in the USA rig, the paint finish is nice, the control knob is smooth, it is relatively quiet, and it simply WORKS.
